Tea & biscuits enjoyed immensely. Somewhere on Youtube and/or, probably, Animal Planet you can enjoy:
Kitten Bowl, Puppy Bowl, and Fish Bowl...

Yes, folks are getting snow-silly over here! LOL!
A school principle in Kentucky (the state just south of mine) decided to get creative in announcing yet ANOTHER snow day for the kids. This recording is what parents heard last night when the automated system called them announcing the closing. Hilarious!

In an emergency.....I buy vodka!
Bora Da MH.....I have given up the idea of seeing any snow this year, nothing
but rain, went out briefly yesterday, away five minutes, driving back there were flood
signs erected.....lucky in comparison to most of the UK however.

I have missed you Mighty Quinn. I think everyone should pay taxes including the NFL. England has a VAT tax so everyone pays some tax. They also have a very high income tax. How are you liking hope and change? Fewer people now have insurance than before Obama care? You can't get more for less. These people just don't understand how the economy works :)

The Mighty Quinn? The same artist, Manfred Mann, wrote bluegrass tunes also. I just can't remember the name of the bluegrass song.

Hello Denny.....came back to say hope you are managing to shake off that
cold.....take good care this cold weather. A drop of the hard stuff wouldn't go amiss,
in very hot water with lemon and honey....soon shift what's ailing.

Do excuse me MH....I couldn't resist.

Well anyway, have just been a walk in the rain before darkness set in,
it was really pleasant actually, everywhere nice and fresh, raindrops
dangling on the bare boughs of the trees.....

Nightfall now and time for dinner.....

Off tomorrow to see 'Inside Llewyn Davis'.....set where I once lived
or close by. Hope it shows the Chelsea.

Thank you DW your post MOST appreciated..
Me too.. dono' what glitches are in the system,
only one can get into trouble too!
Some might think
'I sent GN good wishes on new grandchild
and she never even bothered to replied'
when in fact I MADE SURE to reply,
out of gratitude... not to mention good manners.
but then Topix is Topix
Id prefer to think that than think there is something more
sinister at work here.

I shan't think that you aren't grateful and would return in kind.:)

It's to be known, though, that for me there can be sometimes be a time squeeze with intent to return for other posts, and then *poof* goes the memory train with the posts not replied to.

*it happens.

Good afternoon/evening, Kitchen-eers.

My daughter got married in Sept. and picked "Do Wah Diddy" as the "daddy dance" for the reception. I sang that to her and her younger sister when little to keep them in good mood for bath-time and other mundane tasks, as opposed to whine-fests.

Evening folks,

Yes indeed DW, and thanks for your text.

the ole memory fails sometimes:)

I saw "Inside Llewyn Davis"
twas one of the movies which I wrote about in
the post that never showed! lol

A fine movie,
the developing frustration, sensitively and beautifully
handled of a talented artist trying to 'make it'

'please sing something from inside Llewyn Davis'
