I liked the segment on Snoop Dog and the other side of Snoop Dog as he's "grown up" a LOT ... the Danny Kaye segment was enlightening and his love for children ... I LOVE CBS Sunday morning ... one of my fave shows on TV ...
Steve Hartman has the most good feel stories ever ... He usually has the last 5 minutes at the end of the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley on Friday evenings ...
Indeed, enjoy just about every segment on that program every Sunday.

And it was great that they celebrated their 35th birthday! "Sunday Morning" started with Charles Kuralt, who did the original "On The Road" pieces that Hartman does now.

No - I haven't gotten one - she would probably like ZOOM though. She drove to a movie last night - we were late and she wanted to speed......NO. She's a good driver - I always worry about who else is out there. No Speeding and no blue tooth phone! 3 friends called her in 10 minutes. It's legal in CO - and deadly!
they do have restrictions here also .. on the "L" they can only have one none-family passenger, and no bluetooth and if you get a ticket the year starts at day zero before she can test for her "N". No bluetooth with the N as well. They have the N for 2 years before they get a full licence. This is Canada ..3 years to get a full licence.

I am trying to teach them something I don't always use myself .. patience and planning .... better to be 5 minutes late than to get into an accident.... the best plan .. leave 10 minutes earleir than you really need to ...

Am desperately trying to convert from Celcius...but no can do. Suffice to say
sounds very cold. Got caught in a hailstone downpower this afternoon, I
thought that would lead to snow but..no. Not a flake here as yet.
Although I do commiserate with you regarding the amount you got in Middle Earth
Indiana...:)
Just watched a most interesting programme on PBS,'The Italian American'...
included an amazing speech by Mario Cuelo (sp)...
Oh I know what I meant to tell you Cuz Luke...in the newspaper today, there was
an article about 'The Midwife' and as to how Miranda Hart came to play the lead
role, the author herself chose her, spotted her and knew immediately she was
right for the role.
do you mean the mathematical conversion?

8 F is 24 degrees below freezing (zero celcious)... the celcius is 9/5 per degree compared to fahrenheit ... so 24 * 5/9 = 15 degrees below zero celcius ...

Hi there Lady El ... It's only 5:15pm / 1715 military time which is what I usually go by ... the temps are up and down ... Like a see-saw, lol ... we just deal with it ... hoodie on the cold days and out the door to the gym .... no sense in bundling up, just warm up the car before I set up and in the gym I go ... Trying to get Gabrielle to go with me but she doesn't have the "bug" yet to go on a regular basis ... I just go without her ... IDK if I told you but she called me a "committed gym rat" ... IDK if that is a compliment or not, LOL ... All is good here ... the pups are basking in the sun ... sending love your way & to P ... of course to the kittens ... Stay safe and warm ... Arms around you! FC <3 ...
WHen I was a regular in a gym (in my mid 20's) what we called a gym rat was the little wimpy guy who wished he could be like us (the serious athletes) LOL!!!

sadly, I think I look more like a gym rat when I go these days ...

Absolutely Grace...the Baby will come when he/she is ready.
Meant to mention earlier, there was a full page spread in my daily paper today
about Brendan O'Carroll......as to his mother having been a Nun, renouncing her
vows to become a politician and doing so much good in that capacity.
An extremely insightful article into his life, mentioning his charitable ways, and
more. Very clever man. A clever child too by all accounts.
LOL

NO news yet El! this baby is taking it's time
must know it's chilly out there:)

Glad you enjoyed the read about BRENDAN O' CARROLL.
YES, very clever too, as you say, he is a member of MENSA.

Who woulds have thought, when watching MRS BROWNE:)

We don't hear much about SCHUMACKER now,
I sense the outlook isn't good,
such a sad turn of events.

Cold here, in fact VERY COLD.

Greetings of the day to one & all.

GM ... yes, I know that & I LOVED Charles Kuralt ... I looked so forward to him on Sunday mornings ... my daddy got me hooked on that CBS Sunday mornings we'd watch at my grandma's home while my siblings got stuck going to church with my mom, ha! Altogether a different story there, heh ... That show is so informative and feel good; how can anyone not watch it ... I love Steve Hartman and can hardly wait for his 5 minute segment 1755 on Friday evenings but if I do miss I usually catch it on Sunday mornings ...

Got things to do and people to see ... Good day ...

The Grammy's are not what they used to be ... I don't do hip hop or (c)rap ... I missed Madonna and Metallica ... Pink did an awesome job in mid-air ... how could she sing and do the acrobats in mid-air ... amazing!!!!... The song Taylo Swift while at piano did on piano was exceptionally well. I wonder how a girl that young of age know so much about heartache and angst? Troubling but man, that was a good song right from the heart ... I liked the country with Willie, Kris, Merle, Blake ... that made me happy ... Seemed like old Grammy times ... but the old are going out and THIS IS WHAT we are calling NEW? Lord, save us!... Hope you enjoyed what you enjoyed while watching the Grammy's ... I totally enjoyed the Ringo/Paul reunion ... that was ever so cool ... Ringo still can't sing but I love him just the same ... He sure as heck looked good and healthy! I was lucky to see Paul in concert, 2nd row in Austin last summer ... Can you saw AWESOME? Yes, it was! You can see pics on my Facebook ... Hi FC,
I see by your posts your weather is rather changeable over there
[so far away]

One of my sons [who is a music producer]
is the proud owner of a GRAMMY for work he did with a
group, a few years ago. The Group got an individual Grammy, as did he.
I mentioned it here at the time..

I can tell you ..didn't do his career any harm:)
they're beating down his door ever since for his services!
