Good afternoon/evening Kitchen-eers!

Had a see at this chap on the color TV this morn. The co-star with Judi Dench in "Philomena".

Your "Alan Partridge" did himself proud as having done the heavy lifting behind the camera for this film.

There is a video link at the bottom of the text. I do not know if it can be viewed on Youtube instead:

As I wrote on another thread 30's yesterday, 60's today, 70's tomorrow ... sounds like a radio station, huh? lol ... The National Weather Service Bureau issued a Winter WATCH Wednesday for Friday at 12 am ... There were over 300 wrecks reported on Thursday night ... We're expecting another cold snap with ice/sleet Tuesday with temps back in the 30's ... wonder how many accidents to expect? Crazy drivers and no full moon ... crazy crazy weather ...
Enjoy the rest of your weekend ... have FUN! FC <3 ...
Yeah, I saw some poor souls slipping around and falling on the ice down in that area.. Ouch!

Enjoy yours I'm hoping!

Much cooler that way .... in driving terms what would Z stand for ?? ZOOM?
No - I haven't gotten one - she would probably like ZOOM though. She drove to a movie last night - we were late and she wanted to speed......NO. She's a good driver - I always worry about who else is out there. No Speeding and no blue tooth phone! 3 friends called her in 10 minutes. It's legal in CO - and deadly!

it is really nothing in comparison. Just wish it would stop rainin'.....
Still no snow here. Tell a lie, a dusting on the tops of the mountains.

Oops ... my prior post was not clear. I was commiserating with your rain and gloom. For here, it's partly sunny and a balmy mid-30sF but the breeze is still a factor but less so than the "Wales wind" of yesterday.

Monday high temp is said to be 8F. arrrgggghhhh!

Am desperately trying to convert from Celcius...but no can do. Suffice to say
sounds very cold. Got caught in a hailstone downpower this afternoon, I
thought that would lead to snow but..no. Not a flake here as yet.
Although I do commiserate with you regarding the amount you got in Middle Earth
Indiana...:)
Just watched a most interesting programme on PBS,'The Italian American'...
included an amazing speech by Mario Cuelo (sp)...

Oh I know what I meant to tell you Cuz Luke...in the newspaper today, there was
an article about 'The Midwife' and as to how Miranda Hart came to play the lead
role, the author herself chose her, spotted her and knew immediately she was
right for the role.

Hi there Lady El ... It's only 5:15pm / 1715 military time which is what I usually go by ... the temps are up and down ... Like a see-saw, lol ... we just deal with it ... hoodie on the cold days and out the door to the gym .... no sense in bundling up, just warm up the car before I set up and in the gym I go ... Trying to get Gabrielle to go with me but she doesn't have the "bug" yet to go on a regular basis ... I just go without her ... IDK if I told you but she called me a "committed gym rat" ... IDK if that is a compliment or not, LOL ... All is good here ... the pups are basking in the sun ... sending love your way & to P ... of course to the kittens ... Stay safe and warm ... Arms around you! FC <3 ...

I liked the segment on Snoop Dog and the other side of Snoop Dog as he's "grown up" a LOT ... the Danny Kaye segment was enlightening and his love for children ... I LOVE CBS Sunday morning ... one of my fave shows on TV ...

Steve Hartman has the most good feel stories ever ... He usually has the last 5 minutes at the end of the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley on Friday evenings ...

Enough of this tom-foolery! lol To speak the same language I've referred to a conversion chart. I can't commit to memory what LOST IN MISSISSIPPI told us for 'close enough'.

http://www.albireo.ch/temperatureconverter/ta...

I mis-spoke about this afternoon's temp anyway according to the evening local news. It climbed to a warm 6C/43F, but the next Arctic Blast is heading this way and tomorrow will see a temp by 5:00 PM ET of -15C/5F.

I'm chuffed that you enjoy PBS programs.:) Thanks for the Miranda Hart tidbit. She's "perfect", as I think they all are. The next season for America begins in March I think. We had the Christmas Special of last season early this month.

Night!
