Just an FYI, in 3 days we are going to be hit with 19 degrees. You can find me hiding under the bed with Van Gogh and Murphy Doodle. An excuse for me to stop by AGAIN, twice in one day and say hello to Brigitte!!!! How is everything, happy New Year and when I get a moment during the puppy sleeping craze, I will call you, long over do I know. Have to send you pictures of Murphy Doodle, also. Full blooded Irish Woilfhound. He flew from Kansas to here, I think. I am sure, I have your e mail somewhere. We need to finally meet one another!!!!!!!!!!
He is a cuty!! wishing you and your sis good luck...as Grace must know...not easy to take care of a puppy when we get older...I find the hard way with Lulu...!! it is just that they are running faster than we can!!
Happy New Year to you too Valerie!

The good news is
MORE lashings of rain & wind in store for you and me:)
so no dancing in the promenade today!
It is calm now, but heavy rain and gale force winds
waiting to display what they can do!
HAS to be global warming, as there is
a notable change ALL OVER,
Stay warm and cosy.
the song 'Stormy Weather' comes to mind Grace.....
they are promising (threatening) lol a few more days
of this, and then.......apparently we will have snow.
We will have to take a rain check on dancing on the prom, lol

Sad to read of MO4's death - she was a lovely lady. Too many shrugging off the mortal coil at the moment - on Friday was in Surrey for the funeral of a close friend - he died on his 71st birthday, just before Christmas (lung cancer - he was a smoker). Have another one on Thursday - not the greatest way to start 2014.
A belated Blydhen Nowydh Da (Happy New Year in Cornish) to all in the kitchen.
Hello there Tony....it's really good to see you here. Bad time of the year for the
vulnerable, we should all take extra care this time of year.
Wishing you a Happy and Healthier New Year....hope the worst is behind you.

Hi-Ho Silver.....lol

Cannot see why you should turn on Grace like that Sir Tally....
she merely said she couldn't understand your post and neither
could I come to that.

Not your usual gentlemanly behaviour...hope all is well.

Bora da Kitchen-eers.

With El's tea and scones, I'm remembering Phil Everly R.I.P.

who with his brother Don, influenced vocal harmonies of our favorite tune-sters and musicians.

Streuth Cuz Luke...I saw the conditions in Indiana just now on Sky News, good Heavens
above, what IS happening with the weather. I believe it's unusually cold in Chicago
also so thoughts go out to Quincy..and of course Paise in Indiana. I hope you are stocked
up and don't have to go out at all.
How about the 200 or so football fans who volunteered to clear the pitch for an important match...now that is what dedication is all about. Rather nice volunteers also dug out around elderly people's homes to enable them to get out, a nice community spirit there.
That was shocking to see the cliffs falling away.....and closer to home, Aberystwyth
have been hit badly, a University town, students warned not to return until the weather calms down, as homes flooded.
Yes, Arsenal are doing very well, as are Liverpool, not so much Manchester United.
The players do not have the fear factor which brought the best out of them under Sir Alex.
You take good care Cuz.
Thanks, Cuz El. I'm all good and set for it.:)

It's the opposite hee,
Gd Morning DW.
They are running all over the place
and very clever too, they don't really come
out 'til night time, to look about for food.
There's a field near us, I very often bring a bag
of food [left overs of the day] and place it under
a tree [my dog watches very curiously as I do,
wondering what this ritual is all about:)
Next day I pass the tree and there's NEVER a morsel left behind!
they have earned their name in being very clever too,
as, if you're out late driving, you can see them scampering
all over and running across main roads but notwithstanding
all that I NEVER see one having been knocked down by a car!
On another matter, yes, Michael Schumacher is stable,
but will he be brain damaged as a result,
very tough call, and appasrently he had stopped
only minutes before the crash to help someone else up.
SAD.
Cuz Grace, you ARE a good heart!:)[even if your puzzling Ali heehee]

Hello everyone, long time no 'see'. So sorry to hear about MO4's passing. She was one of the 1st people I met on here, so long ago. Even enjoyed a few phone calls, many years back. So sad.

Anyways, hope everyone's 2014 is healthy and prosperous.

I cannot decipher any of it, seriously, I can't.
Just come and sit here, have a cuppa and relax,

AND..
It's a new year.

I'll even give up the couch and step out for awhile

Hello there Colloquy....hey, great to see you, how are you?
It's very sad MO4's life was cut short, she and I went back a long time
too although I had lost touch with her recently. In fact, I was only saying to
one of the group that I must get in touch again, just a couple of weeks ago.
I think she held the family together, thoughts are with them now.
I enjoyed looking at the photos of your kitties btw, some beauties there,
I too have one of 17.....I delivered him 17 and a quarter years ago, he and
his sister.
Wishing you All The Very Best in this New Year.

Just dropping in to wish everyone a Good Morning
and hope it's a good day for all. Again shocking scenes of
extreme weather conditions in the USA...pretty bad here but
nothing in comparison, although Cornwall (Tony's territory)
is worst affected.
My shopping day today, and library etc.

I agree wholeheartedly El, our weather
is dreadful at the moment but, as you say,
atrocious conditions in parts of the USA:

I've a bit of housework and doggie walking to do,
in high winds and heavy rain,
so afternoon plans? > I see the plush cinema -
only ten mins away .. calling me
to its cosy arms:)

Few good movies out these days -
I believe ALL IS LOST with 'Robert Redford' is excellent.

Greetings of the day to you El and to everyone.
