I wasn't being picky actually thought funny.....
because you had more mistakes in that post besides AWAIT
Paul Harvey side of the story
COPS/FUNNY VIDEOS etc etc....
a 10 minute dash cam from a Maine state trooper
stopped an old man for speeding [see footnote]
wrote him a ticket all the time the old man is ranting & raving [clearly heard on dash cam] he gives the ticket to be signed , old man is so upset at the $175 his camper truck is shaking .... he , the old man rips ticket ...
the State Trooper [cool as the other side of a satin pillow]
instructs the speeder ...to pick the litter up as here-enters his truck... the State Trooper says: DON'T FORGET THAT ONE....
now thinking you are smarter than google if you saw
await maybe you saw heard & storeis that was also in the very same post .... continued
somehow your point did not come across, in your original post, as pointing out something funny .. it came across as nit picky ... several people apparently saw it the same way I did.

I don't chuckle or laugh to this. It only serves to invoke head-shaking and face-palming.
I've decided to let it go .. if everyone does, it will blow over and be forgotten.

Before I left for work yesterday (Thursday) they broke in with the sad story about the Apollo theater in London. My heart goes out to the deceased and their families during this difficult time. May their faith helps them to get through this time of loss. I also stopped by to wish everyone a happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee FRYday! El, I hope you got the Christmas card I mailed to you a few weeks ago? Our new fur baby will arrive on the 30th of DEC. He is already over 20 pounds at 7 weeks. His daddy is 177 pounds and his mommy 155 pounds. I have a feeling we will have tro build some bedrooms on the roof, since there not be any room for much of anything else once he reaches his full height capacity. Going out to run a few errandes.
were there deaths? I had not heard any reported yet, although 79 were injured and about a dozen seriously.

Apparently a extremely heavy rainfull caused it ...

Whatever has happened to the Christmas Spirit? I am sure
we all came here today in good moods.....then it all went
downhill from here.
I don't care to address an old friend in the manner I spoke to
Sir Tally....just not me. Can we all change the mood and move
on, it isn't pleasant lately in the Kitchen.
Absolutely behind with everything today, we had no lights, electricians
have been here all afternoon.....that has been fixed now.
So will catch up with y'all on the morrow.
They say that Cristmas is the most stressful holiday because of all the shopping and visiting, heavier traffic, busier shopping malls, etc added to all the normal stresses of life ...

SO perhaps it got the better of us all?

I agree with you, let;s let bygones be bygones ...

The movie pretty much shows in animation what you described ... and it crosses over and has some life actors as well ...
Bil Murray gets sick, some form of Ebola virus ... and the story is about how his antibodies and a cold pill help to fight off the virus.
It is funny and even a bit educational .... I recommend anyone watch it if they can.
You know, I vaguely think I saw it..

When we think about it tho' it IS a whole other microscopic world,
I remember seeing a similar documentary along the same lines
on the changes that take place
up to and after the moment of conception.
It was detailed and mind blowing.

No, there weren't any deaths reported, thankfully.

Some serious injuries, as you already mentioned.

I often wonder why they call these things

You are possibly confusing franko with me. I'm "always" looking up stuff. I was trained for that.
I am franko. I am PFffff. I am SLACK.
Because you've even accused Grace (at least once) of using other ids:
"if you correct one mistake correct them all ... no matter which id you use and trust me I passed over many of your misspellings ...... and instead of trying to bring me down try to bring yourself up and above"

I have only
one identity here.. never had another.

I post from my 1Pad as I'm doing now..

Just to clear that up.

Sorry to hear both your good self and El

Such a frustrating time to have them!!

Is it back now?

Speaking of misspellings etc,
by way of a little joke.

We have a saying around here
remembering a very old gent who
lived in a remote area ..
was almost a recluse
He used to call ELECTRICITY
>> ELECITY

Post rural electrification..

he spoke of the many benefits
of the ELECITY:)

Funny story regarding the gent. I saw your country this afternoon -- south of Dublin to Waterford, along the coast to Kerry, taking in Cashel along the way -- by way of the color TV in a travel show.

My "elecity" has been good (knock wood) although it's rained and rained and rained. No one has knocked a utility pole down yet, nor has there been a problem at a grid sub-station.

I'm in the rain part of the system, in between icing/snow on one side, and severe thunderstorms on the other. Currently, there is a tornado warning in some location in southern Indiana.

Happy Winter Solstice Night, Kitchen-eers. This the night ... well, of the long night. I guess that is why this full moon is called by some "The Full Moon of the Long Night(s)".

I've received a special gift already.

Years ago while my youngest two daughters were out and about, I found a wallet on the ground at a convenience store. Police were coincidentally on-scene to grab a snack or a drink. I turned over the wallet to them.

While coordinating our Christmas-related gatherings next week yesterday, one of them told me that she found a wallet in a shopping cart in the collection corral outside. She turned it in to the store's customer service.

Coffee here will be brewed and ready in the morn.

You might find this interesting.
NEWGRANGE over here is of great interest,
older than the Pyramids and Stonehenge.

We watched, in awe, last night's news, as golden
sunlight flooded the chamber..
