Cuz El ... hope the library books wanted shall be in directly. After motor car service, it took 4 stops to accomplish my shopping goals for Monday. More is in future in some day(s) hence.

The original range of plain bison in America included where Chicago is; and extended to where Philadelphia is, and maybe knocking on the doors of Trenton N.J. native American homes. While in western New York state, they seem to have not ranged to where New York City is now.

There is a map comparing original range to ranges after near-extermination in stages in this article sub-section:
