Luke, it is the same thing that happened to HH when I first meet tally and was invited to his secret thread. He has been at war with someone his whole life. All it takes now is for someone to disagree with him on any subject. Sad
dude! Tell me something I don't know!!

There's about 7-8 inches of snow accumulated outside my abode since yesterday evening -- after a bit of sleet, mind you.

Snow has been softly falling for awhile this afternoon. Will stop this evening sometime, I guess. In the 20Fs now with moderate wind, heading to about 10-11F overnight.

Mandela has been very ill for quite awhile, so his passing isn't unexpected. Still .. it a startle to see/hear.
Do what you must to get back on your feet. Try not to let season's pressures prevail.:)
Thanks DW am already very conscious of
keeping alcohol
out of the equation when using all medicines,
But thanks sincerely for the reminder...

And a very good tip you give>

not letting the Christmas rush bother,
Lol, true ..
We'll all be there after it, just the same.

Wishing you a very restful weekend.

I imagine it looks awfully pretty and I love the silence comes
with the snow. It has it's hazards I realise that. Still
no snow here, floods yes, but nothing too drastic just here.
I found myself converting the fahrenheit reading back to centigrade after complaining about Brussels changing our original system...how perverse is that. You just gotta go with the flow, lol. Take care in that snow (((Cuz Luke)))

I was referring to Manuka Honey .....LOL!
I can't win with that recommendation though,
my brother said he was admitted to hospital
two weeks after starting taking it, I assured
him he would probably have been in a week earlier
had he not, hahaha

Good morning all. 250,000 have no power in Dallas. We finally got power back last night. This is an all electric home so we had the fireplace going all day to keep warm. It is funny the way you think, Like the range isn't working so use the microwave : ) Life by candle is over rated

Terrible thing to be without power, especially when you are all electric, glad you got it restored Denny. We have only just thrown out a camping stove and calor gas bottle, seriously thinking of getting a small one for a standby as we are all electric too.

I'm too lazy to convert to C for those who use it. Sorry.

Look for an avatar change. Winter scene from the sliding glass door in my dining area. Taken last year closer to Christmas, but VERY similar to what it looked like yesterday. The only difference today (Saturday) is sunshine!

Be warm and safe, Kitchen-eers. I've got snow to move.

hey Luke

Here is a trick I use to convert f to c roughly
We know 32=0. 212=100 then just remember 75 is real close to 25, then just esfamate from there

Tony would have a field day on this subject, being an ex Matelot .
