To Denny! The Michigan murder of a teenager seeking help is yet another reason why we need less guns and
tighter gun laws in the US. This was no accident -- he murdered someone who sought help and just first.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-25044...

And PS. Burglars, rapists & murderers don't generally knock on the front door.

I'm not claiming racism; I'm claiming stupidity and ignorance on the part of someone who never should have a gun IF he had legally.

He should be tried for 2nd degree manslaughter

Happeeeeeeeeeeeee SINday, one and all. I have left over Pot Roast from a few nights ago and was STEERED (no pun intended) to SLUMGULLION. I looked it up, I dont like the sour cream part and they said it is watery? A nice little veggie add, with mashed potatoes sounded nice. I might get Kaiser rolls and do that. I DUNNNNNNNNNN KNOW. What is going on in the kitchen? Went to KHOLS FRIDAY on my day off to use my birthday gift card. Lights went out while I still wanted to shop. Went on line to check out, it was worse then black Friday. The long lines, the registers not wanting to work. After 2 hours, I got out with my ONE shirt purchase. Some old bitch had cut in front of me in the line, rather then mop her AARP ass up with the floor, I changed lines. When I left, they were still checking trying to get her purchases rang up. Heh heh heh. Other then that? My attorney is wrapping up my case from last JUNE, they are haggling over the money. They reached a stalmate, 10 thousand. Had to hand in another sample to the health department for my E COLI test, first one was contaminated. UGHHHHHHH. They are sure I had it. My attorney will handle that case next. Things have been hopping. My sister, working full time for the humane society now, wants to take home every single dog and cat she lays hands on. We almost wound up with a monsterous Presaria, but Van Gogh would NOT cooperate. We want a big dog, missing our Jag so much. If anyone has a spare Irish Wolfhound please let us know.

Good morning El and all in the kitchen. I watched a lot of National Geographic on the Kennedy assignation. What a botched up mess on all ends. The best thing was all the home movies have been put in high definition and they are so much better. The one thing I am sure of is it didn't happen the way the warren commission said it did.

Good Morning Denny..and all friends here.

Have I missed you!

Granted, had a nice break, but not the same without my Offbeat
friends.

I saw that advertised on the telly Denny, but by-passed it for some reason, from what you say, glad I did. Not sure I could bare to watch it to be truthful, remember it clearly, what a time that was
back then.

VEE....good to hear from you, and thanks for the photos of your sister's work at the shelter, she has taken to it so well. Hope you are much better by now.

Good to see you hear again Quincy, missed you greatly, and sincerely
hope that you, along with our Dear Luke, are not affected by the tornadoes.

GRACE....am heavily into X-Factor this time around, and enjoying it immensly.

Ahem! I am watching Sky News this morning, and one topic was,
that there is a plan to bring back English words which have been forgotten in the passage of time. Happens SLUMGULLION was one of those words. You are ahead of the game Vee!....:)

Sadly, this isn't quite true. Potential burglars, rapists, and/or murderers will have someone knock on a front door, usually a young woman, whilst hiding in the background, ready to gain entry once that door is opened.

A warm WELCOME BACK, EL..

So good to have you back
and glad you enjoyed the break,
hope all cats behaved!

Ye, I'm enjoying XFactor UK, too.

Sam Bailey seems to have a very good chance,
but I know they take other things into account too,
like age and the ability to sell records also.

In my humble opinion,
I think the 3 finalist will be

SAM BAILEY: ROUGH COPY and NICHOLAS

who are all very good with a chance of winning..

Who would you choose El?

I have to buy Bill O'riley's on the murder of Kennedy. They made a film based on the book and they showed to first shot as the throat shot the second a miss and the last a head shot. That is totally impossible if there was one shooter. I just don't know if it says that in the book or the movie changed it

I had a friend who was in a gun fight with 3 Mexicans who tried to force his door in the middle of the day. He won the fight :)

Thanks Grace, time seems to have stood still this month!
All cats doing well, although Bonfire Night was abit
traumatic, a rocket landed in the garden, and
although all cats were in, Clancy in particular took it
very badly. Soon forgotten though...:)

Sam Bailey most definately would be my choice, and I also
think the Scottish lad in with a chance. He sang the
Scottish anthem at the match as a matter of interest, and
was remarkable.

Rubbing my eyes!! Well hell, Cuz El's back from her sojourn!

Thank you so much for your concerns about my welfare regarding Sunday's storms. All's well -- was without electricity for almost 2 hours, but just that inconvenience.

Are you taking a respite at home base before touring more to fill out the rest of November?

Main reason for coming back Cuz Luke...I had just seen the images of Illinois on Sky News.....so glad you escaped unscathed.

Well! You know what they say, best laid plans of Mice and Men and all that...we visited two National Trust properties which have been on our wish list, Chirk Castle being one...and went over to the island a few times, always a pleasure,(Anglesey) or in Welsh, Ynys Mon (the Mother Island)...but I did a hell of lot of just sweeping leaves and generally mucking about at home.
We have a light dusting of snow this morning, it's really beautiful.
Love the Winter months.

Good Morning Everyone,

The Gentle Giant came back this morning, by whom
I mean the stray cat I have been feeding for some months now, so it was action stations, and he was
whizzed over to the Vets to be 'done'.....and hopefully this will curb his instincts, in time, to roam.

Had to laugh. P took him for me while I 'phoned to say the cat was on his way. The nurse asked me 'is he accompanied?'....hahaha

He is described at the Vets as 'the Feral'...a more gentle cat I have yet to meet, he is a darling and there is a home here for him forever. Named him Morgan.

Not a lot to say other than that, it's a lovely day, sunny, has been a light snowfall overnight....
beautiful.

I know the feeling Denny, and I can't use Thanksgiving as an excuse, lol. You need comfort foods in this weather, don't worry about it so long as you feel fine.
Really bitterly cold here now, and just going dark. Didn't get around to watching Breaking Bad last night and tonight England are playing Germany (football) should be a good game.
