El, I came across this today, wow. Thought you'd find the pics of these CRAZY folks interesting. Hope you have the lawn furniture tied down, lol. Will be thinking about you and sending prayer or two while this one is coming in! Take care, friend.

Good morning all.
I want to ask about the #4 picture "A boy plays in the foam washed ashore ".
Being a solid land lubber, I've never seen that before.
Where did all the suds come from? Is that a bio hazard to the wildlife? Is it some kind of fish snot or what? Lol, I'm seriously curious.
Thank you for sharing the wild sea pictures. Freaky how high the waves are splashing. It looks so teeth chattering cold, how do they stand getting wet like that?
A wonderful day to all in Ms. Els kitchen. Stay safe and warm with battened down hatches.

Don't know that those crazy folks in the pictures were at a safe distance though; I've seen so many videos of wave watchers get hit by a rogue wave and get washed in, they were very fortunate.
Hey Paise....speaking of crazy...group of women on the tv
on this mornings news actually swimming in the sea in Brighton
rather them than me!
We have been lucky here, dreadful down South and South East.

That is sea foam, and it gets frothed up when the waves are wild for a prolonged period. It's your guess as to what provides the sticking material in those suds....ewwwww!
Alas I spoke too soon though, I saw where they called off a search of a teen boy that had been grabbed by a wave and taken out to sea. What those folks were doing is exactly how that happens.:-(

The most extreme case of sea foam I know of happened in Australia in January of this year; take a look for yourself...

An yet, in order to enforce the follwing of a religion, hellfire and brimstone tactics need to be used.
Driving is not a big deal if you have the riht to choose to drive or not drive. Being denied the choice,to drive, even in the case of high need such as a medical emergency, suddenly makes it a very big deal.
I point to our decadence never mind the Muslims. If you read
where I pointed out the behaviour of our Saturday night party
goers, and the fact that you would not see a Muslim in that
disgusting state.
Listen Franko, I am a throwback to the Swinging Sixties (and then
some) but I see how our society is going and it's not a pretty sight.

Well Grace, I have always been a bit of a 'Feminist'
and certanly believe in equal rights and all that, to
the extenct that one time I applied for a job on a
building site, as a brickie no less (don't laugh)...:)
where the Foreman attemped to take my application seriously
(previous job..Fashion Model) lol...it was to prove a point,
and to demand equal pay, but I was rejected for the simple reason
'there were no toilets for ladies on the site'..poor excuse,
only thankful in hindsight they didn't take me on!
So yes, the fact that women are not ALLOWED to drive putting
them on a par with children in a way, should not be.
But then I think of the women in the Third World who would give
anything to be able to feed their children....to have a decent
roof over their heads...the men who would give anything to be
able to support their families...when a car is something that
only the rich would own...
It's all relative.
Tis indeed, as youb rightly say..
and as the ole country woman used say

'You'd be forever trying to solve it'!

Hope you weren't blown off course El:)

This storm did a lot of damage [saw it on Sky]
but wasn't as bad as much as they forecast..
however think you folks are over the worst now.

Wonder if Vee sent you the 'Van Gogh' doggie link,
made me mad as 'ell... SUCH a beautiful animal..
doesn't bear thinking about indeed.

They talk about ALIENS,
but folks who are cruel to animals are
real aliens..[I think]

Were we carnivores once upon a time Franko? Our ancestors
were equipped to eat and digest meat, i.e., incisors and
appendix the latter which was left behind by our ancestors
yet no longer of use.
Since then we have evolved....yet I see you point, best to
trust you own gut.

Very true Grace, one could go on and on making comparisons.
There are so many different forms of oppression.

Vee did indeed send me the link.....very tragically it is all
too common with the breed, but how very lucky was that little dog
to b found in the nick of time.
Similarly, there are so may different forms of animal cruelty,
one which appalls me is allowing an animal to produce over an over
until it is wornout. It is sheer ignorance or greed on the owners
part, and over the years I have managed to get many an animal out of this situation and rehomed. It's what I do.

Such a funny incident on Sky News this morning.

An old lady made a booking by 'phone to Granada
Spain, it had bee her heart's desire to go all hr
life. However, the operator mishard an thouht she
requested aseat on a plane to Greneda and booked
her on a flight to Grenada in the Caribbean.

Whilst on the plane she got into conversation with
another lady and mentioned how she was looking forward
to seeing the Alhambra in Spain.'Not on this flight'
she was told....the air crew took over, put her in
1st Class, gave her Champagne and upon arrival, put her
on a flight back to London where she was redirected to Granada Spain.

A happy ending to the story then...and the icing on
the cake was when she returned home it was to learn that she had been cleared of the breast cancer for which she had been treated.

A good morning to you!
Thank you and a GM right back.:) What an interesting phenomena. A second thought about origins of the foam would be pollution from sinking ships, industrial dumps, or the soaps etc. used to clean up spills. Hm.

Sad to read about the young man lost.
This type of tragedy makes me wonder if people often unconsciously go forward, even run, to meet their fate. Perhaps instinctively stepping into another timeline or dimension, where they are needed or have another life to live.

Too many deep thoughts for a Monday morn.
Off to have another cup of caffeine and getting to the days chores. Ty's & Happy wishes again to all.
