Well yes....as I knew none of what had happened before.
None the wiser now as to why, but hope you have been able
to put it behind you.
she was pumping me for info to give JG OP, apologized privately for doing so then told her friends privately that I was a backstabber

when I would ask anyone to explain the accusation the lies against me just increased, it was a strange lesson human sociology

I held my ground

some say to forgive and forget, for me it's forget about forgiving and march over their bodies, it must be a Viking thing

To cheer up the thread....

We had a 'music week' here last week,
and a new 'single' was brought out,
all proceeds going to a very hardworking worthy children's
charity..

It is lovely, I think -
four singers on the track, all good, but..
IMO, the second two singers are
the best, ESPECIALLY the black woman who sang and
who has a fab voice.

enjoy:

It would appear that you did have friends after all, otherwise you
would not have known what was being said about you. It is so unecessary
to fabricate stuff like this, makes you wonder what is their point.
I will forgive, but would be a fool to forget. As you say, a lesson
in human sociology.
Thanks for sharing..:)

It was an exciting game to watch, those were two brilliant
goals..I was particularly glad Steven Gerrard scored as my
brother had said he was 'past it'...hahaha...he knows I like
Steven. He does it to wind me up.

Whichever match you're raving about, I would not know. But I did hear on sports reports that England did qualify for the World Cup.

Cheers and best luck!

Good morning/afternoon Kitchen-ettes!:)

<quoted text>one billion?
got a link?
This is a very general estimate, but from everything I have read, most predominantly muslim nations have the same attitudes towards women as this young lady in Pakistan experienced. There was recently an article about Saudi Arabian women trying to gain the right to drive a freaking car !!!!(Right now most muslim women aren't allowed to drive a car even for emergency purposes ...!!!)

ALso, many non-muslim African nations still try to keep their women under mens's thumbs,as does India (remember the case last year of the young girl raped in a bus, eventually she died from her injuries ... most such cases are never tried and this only went to court because she died)....

If anything, 1 billion is a low guess.
