A slap in the face, but not a total surprise.
Anyway, offbeat has rather lost it's charm for me,
better things to occupy my time.
KRYPTEIA......game on this evening, come on ENGLAND.
See ya.
after I found out red had reported me to adult protective services and my local sheriffs department this whole place became something different to me

Thanks so much Cuz Luke....
had some committments here so was unable to go 'up North'
after all, but we are in communication and he is doing fine.
He had a triple by-pass so has done exceptionally well...
Earl Grey ... hot!

{{{ Cuz Eleanorigby }}} I'm pleased to see that, and if I may reply "with a borrow"

But I'm strong

Today I heard Graham Nash in interview. His new memoir "Wild Tales" is available for a read. I learnt (or re-learned) that The Hollies formed around Manchester. Were any of'em mates with ye?!:) They 'conquered' Manchester, then London, and did pretty damn well in the states, don't you know!

This weekend viewed the end of season 1 of Last Tango in Halifax. By Wikipedia: "The first series was filmed in both Yorkshire and Altrincham in Greater Manchester."

"The production team filmed scenes from the second series [production began in July, 2013) at the Monte Carlo Coffee Lounge on Princess Street in Halifax town centre.[22] Filming also took place at Hoghton Tower, a fortified manor house in Lancashire, in August 2013. This resulted in the Tower being closed to the public between 19 and 28 August.[23]"

Prophetically signing off that last post "Out Front Luke" indicates I sensed a warp in the time-space continuum, or the earth's magnetic field (whatever you'd believe!).

Be it by the reported instigator of this malicious crap, or a fabrication of such by your source; this trust betrayal assuredly warrants your posts.

Adding 'voice' to input of others: don't let the wanker 'win' by a complete withdrawal. This person doesn't deserve 'a win'.

Morning all,
Pouring down rain here,
but then it IS October..
The year turning nicely.

El, thinking of you and I agree with PFfff
And DW, don't be reluctant to come
to YOUR very successful thread;

Don't allow anyone keep you away.

At least the rest of us, if we have any ole gripe,
from time to time about topics here ... and differences of opinion,
We can
lay them out here in the open, argue, and disagree,
then put them aside and it's back to
Business as usual..

Good day to you and the regulars.

“Cool huh?”

'Morning to you Grace...

and thanks so much for your kind support. That applies to
all friends here.

It has been a combination of events led me to walk away....

but whether in friendship or companionship, call it what you will,
we have all forged a bond here, and I am happy with that.

So, coffee is on, tea brewing (Earl Grey) and on with the day.

The verse brought tears to my eyes {{{Cuz Luke}}}

but in a good way.

How incredibly interesting your post...found myself looking on Wiki
going into the background of CSNY...interesting stuff. I will look
out for the book. I knew many of the artistes of that period, due
to the fact my dearest friend co-owned a coffee bar in London were
they appeared. It was an exciting time to be around.
How did I miss Last Tango in Halifax having been filmed in Altrinham...
I know it so well.....lived a couple of mile way....brings back pleasant
memories. Series 2 is starting soon....brilliant series. Look forward
to seeing the new locations...
A great deal to be considered in your summary of the 'slander'......
thinking about it in the morning light, it really isn't worth any more
worrying about. Those who matter know me better than to believe it,
that is all that matters.
