Wow, after a 'down day' now, Saturday will be a 'red-letter' one: new color telly, trifled lunch, and a match!
Vet visit OK?
It's very kind of you to ask Dear Luke.....I took two...and I brought two home..it is a matter of time now with one little
pet, but at this moment in ime she is comfortable. I try to
detatch myself as their welfare is of the highest importance.
So far so good.

What a day! I went for my 'flu injection, just made it on the dot as my appt. was four minutes past two. Nurse came out of her
room and asked me my name...considering there was no flu clinic today, lol, I hd my dates mixed up with Veterinary appointments,
however, she kindly 'saw' to me and others in the waiting room were
happy for me to go before them. Everybody took my mistake in good part.
I love the Welsh!

Yep...brand new telly tomorrow...going all posh in the Rigby household! All we need now is for Man U to 'up' their game...

Lunch will be chicken, leek and bacon filo pies, followed by trifle and a glass of Vino.

against bats....

when my wife would drop from the rafters
at sunset ... she never wanted a kiss hello
when I ate leeks .......

good point El
it does work both ways, and its good business.
although I gotta say, when we were in France, we got lost and tried speaking to a police office for directions, at first he pretended he didn't know what we were saying, then after watching us struggle - he let us off the hook and said yes he knew a little English. lol
I personally have no problem with people here speaking in Spanish, no problem teaching it in schools either, but I draw the line when it comes to the "general" public having to conform to a language that is not considered "American"
so if ur gonna live here, learn our language. other generations have done it, no reason why the new ones cant either.
IMO
anyway Bora Da!
we have a neighborhood garage sale again this weekend, hopefully i'll get rid of the rest of the "junk" I have left over from the last one.
lol
:)
Happy Weekend Everyone!
I had some of that PFfff...was in the South of France and asking for Sugar Puffs at the local grocers, the girl id a lot of shrugging and ne comprendezs....thankfully the elderly gent, poss her father, produced a box of SP, something to do with regional accents.
I think you views on Spanish being spoken there very fair-minded,
and I could'nt agree more about English being e first language tho'. That was the big problem here, in reverse, forced to peak English, it's only now that their own has been revived. And guess who came here with some SOUTH Walian under her hat!...(:
Pob lwc with the garage sale....:)

did you know:

Music is called the universal language of the world because of many reasons. First and the foremost, music is made up of 7 main notes.

Good Morning,
Hope you got on ok at the Vets,
as for the flu injection, I choose

Busy day yesterday too;

was at my desk for the day 6:30am to 10pm!

Want to thatnk you and DEER WHISPERER for very kind

Speaking of cell/mobile phones,

we call it mobile phone,
what's it in Wales El? just curious:)

Happeeeeeeeeee FRYday everyone! Headed for work, then going out to eat after with a few co workers.Have to pick up a co worker at the bus stop so have a great day, whatever you plan, and hug all the animals. Wondering if Dennis Farina made it to heaven yet and got his wings. Have not heard any bells ringing yet. Maybe he is being admonished for that gun at the airport incident.

Good morning everyone. A wasp stung me right between the eyes and I look like I took a beating. My eyes are nearly swollen shut. I have never had such a bad reaction :(

MORNING ALL
I went to the emergency room and they gave me shots and a steroid pack so the swelling is down. I was very lucky because I bought some wasp traps and I was taking down a bird feeder so I could hand the trap. The bird feeder was where the wasp had nested but somehow I didn't get stung again. There were about 15 in the nest. I spayed them good and killed them all. Revenge is SWEET :)
