I am glad it was in the 60's this morning. I got all kinds of work done before it got hot. I tore out my deck and hauled all the lumber to the kerb ( That is the way they spell it in the UK )Now I have to buy 10 bags of mulch to cover where the deck was

Yes, I think I will have to try..your Zucchini Apple Bread and a Mug of HOT Chocolate...
How was your SUMMER??
'Morning CC...glad to see you safe, I was concerned when I
saw the news in your area (presumably) left a post here for you.
I must say Zuccini Apple Bread sounds delish....I would love
to make that...
I remember coming back from the USA and asking for Zuccini in
the greengrocers, the fellow looked at me like I was from Mars,
they call them courgettes here I didn't know at the time and
was descibing them....:)

cookies...comfort food.
I was looking around a Southern Fayre and found some recipes
for Fried Banana Pudding, it looked fantastic in the images,
can't wait to try this dish.
May God Bless you too and look after you....:)

'Morning Sir Tally...
Terrible when it happens close to your own back yard...glad to
hear no casualties. How unerving for any kids who witnessed tho'...

the football....happening here also, the poorer teams suddenly
beating the wealthier ones, not so in the case of the M/C Derby
though as Man City's playrs cost the Earth...in all fairness they
played brilliantly.

Earl Grey ... hot!

Regarding football: aren't you glad you're in Wales?! American gridiron football invades Wembley Stadium this Sunday for an early evening game (London time -- to make a 1:00 PM ET game for the U.S.).

The Vikings of Minnesota will host the Steelers of Pittsburgh for this match. I guess the Vikes are hosts because of the influence of Danes on your islands??!

I read ur wedding post twice and smiled ear to ear - thanks So much for sharing!
but... the big question is - did ya get drunk? lol lol
our celebration began afterwards, one down and another kid to go. lol - out came the measuring tape and Dad's new "man cave" was born. but peace and quiet didn't last very long, for along came 3 new rug rats to add to the clan and the circle of life continues.
we babysat the kids just this weekend, and u wanna talk about "the Loud family" my ears are still hurting. lol
after they left, the wine came out, we held the glasses up with goofy smiles and hubby took a picture and texted it to my D, she responded with a laugh and said what nerds we were and said see ya next weekend. lol
Cheers!
lifes good..
:)
:) I'm glad all over that life is good! I'm glad you enjoyed my posting about it. I am tickled by what you wrote about your famdamily. "The Loud Family"... priceless!

For your 'drunk' question ... no, but I've got another story about relaxing after-it-all and shall post it soon.

El,
I was delighted to see the return of
DONTON ABBEY last Sunday, good as ever and I love
the fashions of that period, even the mens:)

All the actors are top drawer.

Our LOVE/HATE is returning too, that means Britain
will show it later, I'll keep you posted.

**

Deer Whisperer,
Glad to hear the wedding went so very well
from what you wrote -
speaking of TEA Earl Grey etc,
I| notice if you go to buy tea nowadays,
you are mesmerized by ALL different kinds
from herbal to green tea - black tea to -camomile -
yellow tea,
vanilla- peppermint, jasmine etc..
I'd prefer a plain 'old' cuppa we always had
since I was a child.. when there was zero competition lol..

but I think it was Vee who was singing the praises of
a tea called OOLONG,
maybe she'll tell us more.

***

Denny great work done on the deck,
are you on any of those energy drinks? LOL

***

Hi Princess Hey.. & PFfff.

Regards as always to Tony1003.

and wish Franko would check in.
