thanks El,Grace...just to make it clear, your above post was not hre when I posted my own.
Also I would like to add to what you say, and that
is, Tally was not individually responsible for any actions that happened, a state of war existed at the time, and he was under orders to do what he did. He was also responsible for the lives of his compatriots.
No doubt in real life, none of us would choose to stamp out the life of anything willingly.
I wouldn't be so sure about your last line,
when we see how animals are treated -
I'll 'NEVER''EVER' get used to lobsters crowded into a tank
outside a fancy restaurant where posh ladies and gents choose to dine,asnd impress one another across a table,
of white linen cloth, silverware and sparkling glass..
the silent lobster, awaiting, its fate;
when it's time comes, ready to be flung mercilessly into boiling water,
Jesus, I'll never get used to that nor can I see the point,
you might call me nuts .. but it seems a day
for speaking our minds here - a few slices of bread with a bit of
tomato in the middle would do me fine in the unfortunate lobster's place.
However, Autumn seems to be here in all aspects,
and I love this season.
Wishing everyone here a restful weekend.
