Thanks El for your reply,<quoted text>
I haven't had the chance to watch it yet Grace, but I am in
agreement with what you say, it is very unprofessional of the
judges and could destroy a contestant within minutes.
Then again, you would think the contestants would ensure
the had someting to offer before dispalying their lack of talent and as good as asking to be laughed at. So cannot completely blame the judges!
I pre record these things-and so can watch them
anytime, only last night I watched Sunday's programme..
As I was at the cinema with my son..
I saw "The Conjuring" umm..
Didn't live up to all the hype..
Too full on for me,
But that's another story.
Back to X FACTOR.
I agree 100%(and often said the same as you said..
to friends here)??
That surely someone would advise folks
to stay away if the voice wasn't up to it.
I disagree with you that one cannot
completely blame the judges..
I think one CAN.. in the role they have taken on,
They should know FAR BETTER than to laugh
At ANY contestant,
What did we all teach our children from a VERY early age,
we're they to point out an eccentric or a mentally unwell person in the street.
We taught them 'respect'
These judges who swan about in fine clothes, to impress-
sometimes, it would seem,
Lack the very basics..IMO.
(Gary Barlow seems honest and fair enough)
