I went fishing yesterday and had a wonderful time with clouds and light rain. We caught 2 big hybrids at about 6 pounds each and several smaller sandbass. It is cool and overcast again this morning with a high of only 91 today :)

Hold up! You've some splainin' to do.

Bubble and squeak?

Kudos on using SPIROGYRA. Hope you 'keep' it. It's also the name of a soothing cool fusion jazz group. Had a couple of their albums back in the day.

Good Saturday greetings Kitchen-eers!

If it is Quinny's birthday ... Happy Birthday !

In a comfortable cooling trend around here. Good be a record low overnight for this date. Running about 13-17 degrees below average temp for this time in July for a few days.

I had quite the few mole runs in the spring and early summer, particularly near the tree line. Had to watch my footing, too.

Ya know ... when we were small, lots of things were big then!:)

its amazing what you can learn from poor old fat LADIES
Serious thanks for the afternoon's education, though it's not my goal to be a Renaissance man, but just to avoid the pitfalls of chronic and epidemic ignorance and stupidity. Your link did spur a memory about hearing of "Two Fat Ladies".

I'd never heard of 'bubble and squeak' all the while having been the recipient of the practice as a child and dabbling in the arts of left-overs in my adulthood.

Don't let me hold you up from your projects and writing missions. Later.

'Evening Everyone,

Had a very nice day out today, so have neglected
the kitchen....Denny would keep the coffee going
I am sure. The weather held up, it's been beautiful
all day, much cooler now and the promised rain is coming down in buckets.

TWO FAT LADIES was a great favourite of mine...

along with THE HAIRY BIKERS...two good cooking progs.

Enjoy your weekend folks..

its the little critters making these long underground tracks - most of them I can see so I avoid them, but not all. we've been told they really are hard to get rid of so we haven't done anything to really try. I was hoping this year they'd move onto our neighbors place. lol
but I notice recently - they're BACK......
lol

oh well, better luck next year.

Good Morning Denny....great when it turns out unexpectedly like
that. I enjoyed watching your videos of your listings, please
feel free to post them any time...likewise with your magic tricks.

Bore Da PFfff!

Hope the twins had a fabulous birthday. No sign of Quinn
unfortunately...

Must admit moles are no bother here as no lawn, it is flagged
over. Sympathise with the mole hills, could indeed be dangerous.
We never had these probs in the City did we...:)

There are so many garage sales in spring but as it gets 100 there are fewer. It gives me a chance to talk to people have a little fun and search for futher customers. The free iPad as a closing gift sure seems to work. Everyone wants an iPad

Happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee SINday, everybody! The consensus is everyone is trying to beat the heat. For those who are Yankee fans, Derek Jeter is returning today. I thought, why not? If Mick Jagger can still rock and roll at the age of 70 (his song, Start Me Up, has been changed to, I Need A Defibrillator) then Jeter can play. Working today for a few hours, but I look forward to being around my great co workers. Other then that, wishing all of you a great day!!!
