up I get up. Hoping to add an hour to my routine in Winter.
You mean...you are NOT holding your breath about the Royal baby?
lol
There are apsects of their lives I do not envy, Kate and William
that is, but then again, they have it made in a lot of respects,
his by his birthright, hers by choice, but one thing I cannot
understand is, how on Earth is this new baby going to give us
Hope? How? I mean will it relieve those who have to rely on food
banks or worse, Hope? I don't get it. I just do not get it at all.
Another Royal is expecting too..and that is Zara, Princess Anne's
daughter. Good luck to her also.
But a happy medium would be nice and that I would like to see some
pleasure at the very least, here in Wales, when the new baby arrives.
Sadly that won't happen. Tends to push me in their corner if you
know what I mean.
Good point about the HOPE ... the media tends to exagerate and use colourful language in order to give themselves something to write about and get the public all hyped up about an even that happens millions of times a day.. The only HOPE I see being fullilled is to continue to have heirs in the family line ....

Ha! Happeeeeeeeeeee SINday, to you, El and Grace, and Franko of course. The party was a success. When you order a celebration cake, they give you one they call a smash cake, just for the baby at no cost. I watched him dig his fingers in there, shove it in his mouth. His hair. His entire face, the high chair, was wearing butter cream icing. Shae and her hubby R J made fried chicken, there was two kinds of dip, icecream, punch, it was a nice get together. EL... had to work today and NOOOO yesterday was not your typical day for me. I do work all day Saturday though.

I do believe that Kate and William are showing a good

Private. If it's good enough for them type of thing?
So we will sit back and wait and just hope everything goes

But how I wish I could fly the flag from my window...
Isn't it the same hospital William was born in?

Yours is the image of our cat Sandy. Originally
from a neglectful home, he is a big soft boy lives
for cuddles and food.
He's a mess, always in my face and has loads of personality.

Good day El! I see you're back from holiday... A friend of mine sent me some pics of my Rover 2000... check out the avatar! Check your PM box, and send me a quick one. I should have the rover in my possession in a week or two, if all goes well. The interior is red. well, I'll have to change that! Time for a spot of tea, then I'm putting this to bed!

Well, there's the thing ... hope. Maybe the event will have an indirect blessing on an uptick in supplying food banks and such "in the baby's name" by charity of the congregations, the capitalistic marketers gaining profit, the Royal Family, and dare I say it ... Parliament? If at least some come through, it should help.
Hardly likely ablbeit a nice thought.'sides which, we
should not have anybody reliant on food banks ...we are

D'you know Quincy, I honestly couldn't say without looking
it up.

It's a huge amount of pressure you are right, one thing, the
new parents will be fantastic parents, they are both wonderful
with children, you see that when they go walkabout.

Will there ever be World peace? Seems to be conflict everywhere
you look.

Happy Monday Vee...what a great idea to 'throw in' the babies
birthday cake..that's an idea could catch on here if they had
the business accumen to do that. I bet that was hilarious to
see him enjoying his icing, more on the outside than the inside.
Now while he was covered in icing, I was covered in cream cheese
(well fingers at least) hiding the tiny pill to give to the No.1
menace, Dai Bach. Eventually I had to thust it down his mouth
cream cheese all over his little face...I felt so mean but he has
to have them.
Cooler today...

Enjoy your day off BBMolly.

I think Ginger cats DO have loads of personality, Sandy (not
a very inspiring name but as close as I could get to his previous
name of Shaggy) is very playful but hasn't a bad bone in his
body, he is quite a big cat but incapable of defending himself,
bit of a wimp really!...:) Hangs around me a lot...
He has made friends with the stray, which is nice as the stray has a similar nature, very passive, he's adorable, I have called him
Morgan.

Good afternoon El ... tea, toast, and marmalade in the Summer House with you and Mr.'P' was very dandy, indeed. Now, you did spy the 'j/k' ending on the jibe about London, no?
Shortly, I'll be giving some attention to the final round of the Scottish Open golf tournament at Castle Stuart in Inverness. In a week or two, The Open will be held at Muirfield this year.
History .... I'm a big fan, though even with you and Tony's tutelage about, and my reading on the eras and rulers of the Isles, it's a pretty muddle to puzzle out from the influences of the Danes, the Angles, the Normans, the Saxons .... arrggghhh!
Oh yes, that wee lad from Chicagoland was very fortunate to have an air pocket created that saved his life. I've been on that sand dune several times ... there but the Grace of God.
'Morning Cuz Luke...hope you enjoyed the golf..have you participated in that sport at all?
History is fascinating, no doubt about it, Tony is the one much
more clued up than I, his having been a teacher.
The litle lad was from Chicago then? Very lucky indeed, and
thankful to the rescuers I would imagine. As you say,'there but for the Grace of God'.
We have a very hazy morning today, low mist over the lake canno
see the mountain, but I believe i will burn off and we are in for
another hot day, it's nice, but enough is enough already!

In the US it's all about immediacy, convenience & disposable. While plastic bottles may have been more profitable than glass, there's no reason moms can't use cloth diapers. Women used them and managed just fine for decades. I may be wrong but I understand disposable diapers are not biodegradable.

They'll outlast the baby who pooped in 'em!
