I'm in the USA. I will love the international flavour! I've already learned what an Autralian kiss means since being on Offbeat. Maybe I can learn some cultural things here :)
There's something I don't know .. what is an Australian kiss?

You're preaching to the choir sweetheart. I'm all for some degree of socialism in the US. And being called a liberal is not an insult. I'm very socially liberal.
I've also known enough folks from the UK and Canada to know that it's not as bad as some politicians will have you believe. It's the mix as you say.
I know but my comment was for a wider audience ...

<quoted text>there is a lot that goes on in the background of these summit meetings ... months of preparation and discussions leading up to them so that when they meet most of the preparation is already done. 'Evening Franko...

I appreciate all that, so thanks.

Having said my piece..perhaps out of place...I should add I have
always admired the Obamas, truth be known, and my reference to all politicians being a drain, I was referring to our own here in the UK. Then again, there are those who are less of a drain than others!

Wow! Sounds lovely. Boomer is pretty much healed, only having a loss of a words now and then. It seems to frustrate him as he has never been one for a loss of words. I have told him that it will get better and is normal with a head injury. It is just a matter of re-training the brain. We have our largest Festival on the 28, 29 and 39th with an attendance of about 350,000 people. Then next is July 28th with 20,000 approx. attendance. Thanks always for your thoughts.
Lots of love!
Very glad to hear it BE...and that will go in time, you are quite
right. It has to come out in some form.
So it's the big one in just over a week's time? Would love to hear more on this after the event.
Late here now so I am off here for a while.
Sending love.....

<quoted text>Good morning FV....no worries with Franko, he is a wonderful person here in the Kitchen. I have been in the Kitchen for about 8 months on or about along with my husband Boomer who introduced me to everyone. This is such a loving and caring bunch of friends. Great food, drink and conversations. RMQuinn and Denny can have some back and forth about political issues but at the end of the day they respect and care about one another. Boomer and I welcome you to the Kitchen and hope you find it to be all that you need. What part of the US are you in if I may ask? We are in Ohio.
Have a wonderful day and blessings to you and yours.
Hey there Brighteyes!! Carolina Chocolate Drops are coming to Chi Town the end of the month. Thought of you and Boomer as I think he was the one who introduced the thread to band. Excellent music.

Tally,
Very sorry to hear you are feeling
low, chin up and a speedy recovery.
Warmest regards.

Denny belated 'sincere' birthday wishes to you.
Am sure everyone was taken aback by the
premature passing of Tony Gandolfini RIP.
isn't it wonderful to be able to keep up freindships for so long? My mother is 81 and has a freind she has known since the 7th grade. Sadly, my father's longest time freind, who he also knew since elementary school, just passed away. I ahve fond memeories of this man even though I only saw him a few times since I was 7 years old.

Hi My friend Quinn! I have been missing you! Yes, if you get the chance to go see the Carolina Chocolate Drops they are more impressive in person. When Boomer had his radio show he had them on. We received tickets to see them. Now they are Grammy Award Winners and Rhiannon the original gal of the group is a beautiful person.
I hope you and yours are well.

I wonder how many people under 30 even know what that's all about?
