I'm in the USA. I will love the international flavour! I've already learned what an Autralian kiss means since being on Offbeat. Maybe I can learn some cultural things here :)
We look forward to seeing you here often Fairy Verte...you
are most welcome.

So...tea or coffee...and oven ready croissants if you care to.

Australian Kiss? Hope it isn't the same as a Glasgow Kiss, lol.

Have you seen a Panto Dame by any chance? I seriously
recommend that you do, usually a fat ugly male in drag.
HAHAHA
...your recommendations???...don't think so old girl...I accept recommendations from people I respect...not people who live out fairy tales on topix...

Very sorry to hear you are feeling
low, chin up and a speedy recovery.
Warmest regards.

Denny belated 'sincere' birthday wishes to you.
Am sure everyone was taken aback by the
premature passing of Tony Gandolfini RIP.
Good morning Grace. I guess none of us know how many days we have. One of my favorite writer Vince Flynn died at 47 from cancer

SIR TALLY.....are you now home? I had absolutely no idea of
course, although knew you was having some health problems,
can only say glad to hear you are recovering from this latest major surgery and you must do everything they tell you to do now,
to get back to your former good health. Takes time, but worth it.
I haven't seen Tony here for a few days, didn't he say he was
sailing this weekend...I hope he doesn't miss the Rugby on Saturday.
Sending love and good wishes to you at this time...
J & P...
Good morning El Tally knows he is in our prayers.

Hello franko, nice to meet you (I think:))!
Good morning FV....no worries with Franko, he is a wonderful person here in the Kitchen. I have been in the Kitchen for about 8 months on or about along with my husband Boomer who introduced me to everyone. This is such a loving and caring bunch of friends. Great food, drink and conversations. RMQuinn and Denny can have some back and forth about political issues but at the end of the day they respect and care about one another. Boomer and I welcome you to the Kitchen and hope you find it to be all that you need. What part of the US are you in if I may ask? We are in Ohio.
Have a wonderful day and blessings to you and yours.

That would have worked too, but used one more word.
I'm thinking in rhymes now for some reason.
Coming back here from my winter-early spring hibernation, I was trying form a poem worthy posting around other poets that addressed happenings and events during that period. But couldn't overcome the writer's block.
With tea and scones, I wanted to write about the Game of Thrones and the bones of Dichon 3-sticks (Richard III) in the car park. And the kings and queens of sporting contests.
Then there are the once and future Cardinal Kings called Popes with the flock's hopes in goodness and benevolence.
Also, the comparison of our teaser Springs in between the nasty winter weather of the period.
Of all things, there were a couple of sink holes. One poor soul in Florida was swallowed up in his bedroom naught to be seen again. Another was on a golf course green with the golfer getting the hole differently shall we say. He was safely rescued, by the way.
Your posts are poetry to my ears Dear Luke....may you grace this
Kitchen forever with your eloquence and your warm heart.

Good afternoon Lady El,
I could not stop laughing for a hot minute. Tears and the whole nine yards. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! Nothing more needs to be said with regards to Dame Rosa. Thanks for my morning laugh and I hope you and P are fine this beautiful day that you are having.
Lots of love and peace to you both.
