Do you remember in very olden times,
they used place a pudding bowl over
a young lads head and cut around it ..ha ha!
I often wonder was that for real!
All good wishes to you
and to all here indeed.
Good Morning Grace,

and Good Morning All Friends,

Grace, Kelly is the lady from Rochdale I mentioned to
you...before she started to sing I thought she was about
to do a Gracie Fields type number, being from Rochdale
and all, but wasn't she fantastic! Lovely personality.
Those little Irish lads were really great, very good indeed
they will go a long way I am sure.

No probs- had a number 3 haircut three weeks ago in preparation for losing the hair - has started to drop out a bit in the last couple of days so debating shaving head: always fancied myself as Yul Brynner! Actually - belay that thought - smoking killed him at 65!
Boats are expensive hobbies - if you need any advice, PM me and happy to provide it.
Good morning Tony :) Best of luck mate. It is funny but you see so many boats with the inflated collar around them and you never see them here

Shaven heads are all the vogue so you will just look cool.
And think how nice it will look when it grows back on, I
now 'cos I've been there, I actually modelled wearing a wig,
had to whip it off inbetween changes (of clothes) then when my
hair started to grow again I had it bleached blonde in a gamin
style....never looked better!
Hasten to add, this was not due to chemo.
Extremely helpful of you Tony to offer advice, will pass that along to number two son, actually P's youngest.
All our cops look alike here. Most shave their head for some reason. Everyon likes firemen but most don't like cops :)

you know, they are like that here, folk always let on even
to strangers, always ask 'how are you'...whereas we (English)
are much more reserved....usually..:)
I used to be a bit silly..lol..and give a cheery HELLO to people with a big smile on my face, and they would say HELLO back and smile, and you could see them thinking..'do I know her'..
it's a shame people have to grow up and act correctly.
I scare people when I go to England. I say hello to everyone on the street

LOL! That's fine in a holiday area like Brighton...but you
could get more than you bargain for if you did that in say, Manchester.

Something absolutely ridiculous on this morning's news.
Unfortunately the term 'gay' is now used to describe things
not nice, so this child of 5 said to another of a similar
age in the school playground...'your shoes are gay'.

The school called in Stonewalling, which is a company who send
along people to explain the wrongdoing of using the word gay
in a negative way. This country has gone mad!

It does seem like western society is heading in the wrong direction that way .. and just think, after we spent most of the last century fighting communism!!!

About 24 years ago, my wife and I travelled Europe on our honeymoon. I had a freind in Austria who drove a bus for a living ... in fact the route went outside town and picked up people who commuted into town (Salzburg) or teens who went to school some distance from their home.

WE rode along to enjoy a tour of the countryside and see some lovely scenery ...

After a short while I realized that all these youngsters, aged 10 to 18 ... all greeted the bus driver in a respectful and freindly way, usually saying "Gruss Got" which is a very respectful sort of greeting. Many of them knew his name ...

There is no way anyone would act that way most other places ...
