Please Denny,
May I ask that you put
My name in the pot too(:
I'm not long back,
Having driven a heck of a lot of miles
This weekend!

The funeral went off fine.

I was just thinking, we
seldom realise when we do a little good turn here and there,
how it might reflect later when standing at that person's grave.

Some time ago ... the man whose funeral I just attended,
came to the city with a few friends, he hadn't been well
but was STILL trying to keep up with these macho men(:

(We Know men, always needing to 'save face' very important
to them(:

anyhow... ME > . Being older I suppose saw through it,
that he was hardly able to keep up their pace
and so I suggested he come to my place to rest and 'keep me company'
Instead of doing a late night pub crawl with the 'lads'
he agreed, quietrelief in his eyes..
I made him a nice cuppa, told him put his feet up and in minutes,
he was fast asleep;

.watching his worn face, I instinctively knew
he needed TLC much more just then than a night out with 'the ads'

I thought of it at his funeral,
And you know, it gave me a warm glow,
realising I did him a small good deed when it counted.

One never knows..

I'm well aware and I don't give a rats behind. There are far too many political oriented groups and alleged churches looking for non profit status. Yet another load of crap on both sides of the aisle. They should ALL pay as for profits and the churches in Chicago should pay for water consumption like everyone else.

Breathe easier folks, the high horse reared up and knocked me off.

Totally agree Tony, glad you said something, it needed to be said.
It had gone horribly quiet here, I got the feeling you had been misinterpreted.
Just had a downpour of hailstone at the same time the sun was out, everywhere is glistening, it's superb actually.
Another rubbish day promised for here - rain and possible gales. As I've got five hours stuck in hospital with the next batch of chemo, not too bothered, but no doubt we'll be sending it your way ER for later!

Hold that rain and gales Tony...had enough for this month thanks, all nice and dry here this morning if chilly.
Good to see you as it gives me the chance to wish you well today
it's another step closer to being cured....that's a cert.
I shall be suffering alongside as off to the hairdressers today,(j/k)
considering I had a short spell as a hairdresser it's something I do not enjoy.
All the very best Tony, you are in all of our thoughts and prayers.

It is amazing when moments like that happen! Hail? Dang, glad the leaves are still on the trees then, too.
And addressing your comment about our prez butting his nose in y'alls business, I'd say your sight is quite keen and your assessment very on spot.
It's an amazing time of the year. Every year brings it's own surprises. Currently I have Tulips flowering alongside Daffodils
and Forget Me Nots, it's all very colourful.

Being blissfully unaware of your countries highs and lows under the President's second term in office, we judge him over here as we find him...and we love him. Would love him more if he shut down Gitmo Bay! But his speech yesterday just annoyed me, as it would anyone interfering in our affairs. There was just that suggestion of some schemes going on of which we are not yet aware,
or is it me being paranoid?
See...we on the whole want out of the European Union, yet there he was speaking glowingly of our role in it...

Tony....good thing you understand my sense of humour..I know you would trade places today but.. another day closer to being well.

Youngest son has bought a boat yesterday, a cabin cruiser, needs much work doing to it. Trying to find mooring for it up here, it is moored in Leicester at the moment. Lots of potential to it.

See you later...pot of tea always freshly brewed here in the Kitchen.

Quite a journey for you, it's this morning it will 'tell'

Maybe there are to many tax exempt groups but there were no liberal groups investigated ,only conservative. Plus Private IRS information was given to liberal groups about tax payers. Nixon would have been impeached for the same action.
