Yes, Happy Mothers Day to Lady El, Grace, Quinn, FC and all the other beautiful Ladies of the Kitchen. I would also like to wish a Happy Mothers Day to all of those ladies that either choose to not have children or wanted children and could not. To you a thank you for loving and helping to guide all of our children because without some of you, the children would have missed out on beautiful individuals like yourself. It takes a village to raise wonderful children!!!
Lots of Love to All who visit and Peace to you always.
Such a beautiful post...from a beautiful natured lady!
t/y BE...hope you are having a great day.

if so tell the Queen I will get her a card next year
LOL! Thanks for the greetings, and I will do that thing!

It has been a traumatic day at The Field of Dreams today,
Sir Alex has been given a tremendous ovation as it was his last
appearance as Manager on his home ground. Many fans (and players) have never known another Manager...

Not only Fergie retiring, but little Paul Scholes from Manchester
who is one of the greatest, most unassuming players ever, retired today.

Tributes came from all over the world. The end of an era.

Thanks for showing interest Sir Tally, along with Grace, and Boomer.

Don't know why I was never a fan of wine. Champagne on special occasions maybe.
Now it's curl up with a good book ....and cup if tea or coffee.
I never drank wine alone, that seems to be the trend now, I
just can't go along with it, I only ever had a glass of wine with a meal and always have from being a teen. I will have a glass of Chianti with Spaghetti Bolognese still, they go hand in hand to me.
Like leaving off the Parmesan leaving out the wine!...:)
But I'm with you on preferring a cup of tea, some bikkies and a good book these days.

'Afternoon Denny....

you asked me a question a few days back....

I believe that the BBC are suspected of leaning to the
left, I don't know about that, but I watch both BBC and
Sky, the BBC covers local areas is the reason why I watch
that, but find the newsreaders more interesting, more polished,
on Sky. Just my own opinion.

btw I don't think Tony intended us not to discuss politics per se
he was referring to the inuendos. I think.

Good morning El. Hope you're feeling ok and things are better. Seems the older we get the more aches and pains and other maladies we get. Reason enough to take care if ourselves instead of others for a change.

Absolutely ER - it is certainly not for me to suggest what should or should not be discussed here, including politics. What I dislike is political sloganning (if there is such a word?!) which only serve to get people's backs up and are not any part of a discussion.

I find BBC much more liberal than sky. We have another political scandal. The IRS or tax collectors have admitted they have searched for the word tea party or patriot on filing for tax exempt status. That is one of the charges they were going to file against Nixon for impeachment. The use of IRS for attack on political enemies. There is such a huge difference in the way the media looks at crimes committed by liberals and conservatives. It is Monday all over the place

Good Morning Quincy...I'm fine thanks for asking, all I want
for now is some warmer weather! You are so right, we must take
good care, if we don't, who else will?!...:) Have you been to those
wonderful gardens lately? I think I would find a visit to those
as good as a tonic. Am due a few days out actually, thinking of going to Llangollen soon as the weather is fit.

Totally agree Tony, glad you said something, it needed to be said.
It had gone horribly quiet here, I got the feeling you had been misinterpreted.
Just had a downpour of hailstone at the same time the sun was out, everywhere is glistening, it's superb actually.

I must admit I find the BBC biased and they lean towards the left,in my opinion. The problem for me is I have to pay for a channel I never watch,it should be made to work for it's money like other stations have too and come into the real world then see how long they would last..
Anyway hope alls well over the pond..
A nice win for Spurs El,plus a cracking Leicester/Northampton final at Twickenham which will be the first one I'll miss with my mate Dave in nine years at Twickers as I have my army reunion,Brighton/Palace tonight El the tension between these two teams......wonder if the Seagulls will be going into the premiership..

Denny, I give up trying to understand what they are playing at.
It all sounds very underhand.
Meanwhile, the latest here is there is a law being proposed, that if a burglar breaks into your house and he gets attacked by your dog roaming free IN THE PROPERTY, the home owner is liable.
Dogs will have to be secured (chained) if there is nobody on the premises.
The mind boggles.

Did I mention the Whisky chaser, lol.
Lovely to see you Paise, hope all is now well. <3
Whoa! Nothing about the chaser, but it doesn't surprise me. lol
Things are going well for now, some things quite well, thank you. I hope you had a splendid day yesterday. My hubby, kids, and the presence of my mom made it so for me.
It's cold outside here today, but I'm just glad to see the leaves back on the trees. How's it been over there?

For services rendered, yes. For the players it's kind of like
losing their Dad. I liked the fact he asked the fans to respect the incoming Manager, another Scot, David Moyes.
I was appalled the Manchester City Manager has been sacked, it is so humiliating, the present owners change Managers like the weather.

Nearly all our media leans very far to the left. If a Republican does something they are all over it but if the Democrats do the same thing they look the other way :(
