A few Easter thoughts that have been
running wildly thru' my mind,
harnessed &
formed in rhyme..lol

***

EASTER THOUGHTS

"I lay on my bed this morning ..
kissed by a gentle pace

wind chimes..
out in the garden -
playing with an Easter breeze

Through the secret door..
my mind traveled
dreamily .. far away

To what happened

in time - long long ago
around the first Easter day..

I saw "HIM" walking the dusty roads
his face all covered in blood

A crown of thorns in HIS silken hair &
.. the cross that he carried was 'wood'..

They beat .. and mocked him ..
and .. spat in his face

But never a word did he spake
NOT because he was hurting ..'no'
nor was it.. because he he felt weak..

It was that "HE" came from another realm
on the far side of the sun..

Where peace and goodness
flow smooth as a stream
and the purest of love is known.

But HE went to His death in 'a quiet way'
a prophecy - to fulfill

HE carried the cross with courage
up the cobbled Calvary hill

and hung alone and rejected

Said 'this was' for all for 'MANKIND'..
As a human 'I' don't understand
cannot fathom man of THIS kind..

Who stood for nothing but goodness..
whose words were learned and wise

ONE who healed the sick
gave hope to the poor
and.. GOODNESS shone bright in HIS eyes..

It is all such a powerful mystery
why HE should have been put to death
I think about it .. quite often
and I haven't the answer .. as yet..

Something about HIM extraordinary
A mystery ordained .. and planned

Perhaps at the 'end' I will find out..
and

only then ....

will I understand

When I cross the threshold
to a different world

And, I feel so lost and alone
HIS is the voice I will want to hear
saying >

'Grace! you are welcome home'

<quoted text>Straw purchase is illegal and they should trow the book at them. Holder is responsible for the big straw purchase that put guns in Mexican drug dealers. The government need to follow the law too
Then I don't understand why the Republicans voted against making it a felony.

Holder? I didn't think straw purchase was legal. Why not just go buy a few kegs for a 14 year old and throw in a few cartons of cigs?!
Fast and Furious was a program of Obama that did not follow the law and allowed straw purchase. It resulted in the death of a border patrol agent and the death of no telling how many Mexicans. Obama protected Holder with executive privilege. We need to enforce existing laws on gun control. Chicago has strict gun laws but the worst record of enforcement of those laws. 500 murders come from the lack of enforcement of the law

You get in west Texas and the accents are very strong. Big city area lose their accents. Hell some people think I have an accent and I speak pure Texan. If you have watched my magic video you know I don't have an accent :)

Straw purchase has been against the law for a very long time. They have to commit a felony when they fill out the back ground form. They state the gun is for their use and is not being bought for another. Leave it to the NY times for false and bias reporting. How many people have been prosecuted ? That is the rub when existing laws are not enforced. Straw purchase is illegal!

Good Evening Lady El!
We thought of you this morning. Boomer had eggy bread for breakfast (better know as french toast in the states) and I had poached eggs with soldiers. LOL Now, we have a question for you. What is rashers bacon? Hope you are having a wonderful Easter Sunday. Lots of love to you and P as always.

They are gang related and gang bangers who are killed - no loss in my view - the loss is the innocents who get caught in the crossfire. At least the mob only killed each other - no women children or people who hadn't pissed em off.

I do a shop like that abut once a year, when my daughters convince me to go down to Seattle for a day of shopping. She went down with her cousin last week and we discovered that high thread count bedsheets cost less than half as much as they do here in Canada ... next time I am stocking up on those!!!
I am good, very busy starting up my business.
Hi Franko ... wow, that's wonderful about starting up your own business, what kind of business, nunya? Like nunya business, lol ... just teasing, of course! No, really! What kind of business? I'm a BeautiControl consultant ... we have those parties where an individual will host a party ... mostly what I get is a good deal on the products like as in FREE or a very big discount on the beauty products and I really like the product ... it's fun, profitable at times and a good social network/outlet ... What I wanted to tell you was that Brenda and I are self-sufficient, have our own money and are "low maintenance" lol ... if you can dig that, haha ... Happy Easter to you and yours! Hey there FC!! Wishing you a lovely Easter and an enjoyable weekend. Traveling or staying put? Did you hide bones for Jax to find? Something from the Easter bunny....I mean Easter Puppy.
:-)
Afternoon, Quinny! The non-profit organization which I'm associated with threw an Easter Egg Hunt yesterday at Jones Brothers Park ... there were lots of children with their accompanying parents all too eager to gather their eggs in their little baskets ... it was fun ... we then served hot dogs, lemonade and apple juice ... There was also an Arts and Crafts Fest and a Cajun cook off at the same park so there was lots of fun to be had ... Had a great time and it was a great Easter Sunday ... Hope the same for you and yours! Good day to you! FC <3 ...
