Thanks for both posts PFfff,
Yes indeed there is a little
roadside crucifix in the picture
you spoke of;
I think hew gave it little
thought other than painting in careful
detail.. whatever the subject matter that
was before him at the time.
Very strange man indeed...
going back to the age old question
about such notorious people in history
'BAD or MAD'!!!
bad people always seems to like to use "crazy" as an excuse, but
they actually enjoy being bad - makes em feel powerful..

<quoted text>I talked to my friends in Brighton yesterday. They have had a home business for 25 years selling school uniforms. The Argus wrote a stroy on them and it was picked up by the national papers. BBC called for a radio interview and this has gone world wide. Google Joy Twigg and you can see the many articles :)
Thanks Denny had a look interesting,I wonder if your friends would remember Paul Plumb,he had a shop in Shoreham selling school uniforms back in the seventies/eighties..

They very well may. They have created a great business from their home. Brian had a business with batteries. He would come to your home and install a new battery. They were both entrepreneurs :) The article went viral

Well said,

and how many come to court having
committed some great atrocity and
plead insanity, what strikes me as,
curious!
they usually have all their faculties
to carry out in fine detail their
evil plan!

Um!! convenient.

why Hitlers are here because they are molded in the learning years ,

Hi to
El, and all on the thread.
some inclement weather on the agenda here too!
our weather, as El knows, is usually in tune
'give or take' with that of Wales..
Arctic winds predicted! > poor daffodils! sigh!
Hoping you'll have a great Mom's Day, El...
My sons, who are always ultra attentive to me
don't bother with 'Mother's Day' we have decided
on that, we see it as a money spinner for cards
& flowers....
I am well appreciated as a MOM *all* year and don't need 'a specific day, to be shown it..
but
That's just my opinion,
there are 100 others variations on the theme.
Would be interested to hear different opinions
on MOTHER'S DAY:
Good Morning Grace....and thanks...a little late I know

I can discuss it now it's all done and dusted.

What is my opinion? Well, given my circumstances, and even
though I detest commercialisation of any sort, a token of
recognition woulda been welcome! But it wasn't to be.

Also, had my dear Mother been here once more, I would cheerfully
have put my own feelings about the commercial aspect to one side,
and celebrated the day with at least a bunch of flowers...

where's the harm?!

Well..
There is, of course, a lot of molding
and shaping of a character in the
early years [as we all know]

but the opposite is also true,
people who are negatively molded,
often turn out to be good well rounded
folks.

I think it takes the addition
of a very *unusual exceptional ingredient*
to produce the likes of HITLER.

Thanks for above post El...

I saw you mention the big traffic build up..
Watched it on SKY NEWS..
dreadful inconvenience.

Wonder if you [or others here]
have any interest in the
election of a new pope!

Its kind of compulsive viewing lol

the intrigue, the pageantry of it all!

With all great respect..
but,
I think its kind of funny watching
how the result is announced!
No fancy Announcement from
a Scarlet clad cleric sporting
a golden rings and chains..
but a puff of smoke from an ole rickety chimney
pipe..
a long way from the grandeur of
the beauteous Sistine Chapel..ha ha!
and
[God forgive me n all that(:

more like something you might see
on a boy scouts weekend!

Well..
I'd give them 100 out of 100 marks for
originality!

The likes of Hitler are very common what is dangerous is when they get political power. Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin all Hitlers equal
