on a trolley!!

Good day to all!
The planet has been pretty busy of late... The meat scandal rocking the UK, the Queen Mum not feeling well, Man U rockin it out in Europe, the US attempting to deal with budget cuts and Spring not being closer yet!

I miss our chats about food and the like. Not much into politics or religion. I also believe that you should never post anything that you can't say in public! Just me I guess...

I do hope everyone is well. I will be running errands today AFTER I take a peek at our flower beds. Once it is warmer, I intend to dig all imposing weeds and stuff.

Enjoy your day everyone!

a night or two on a trolley is usual!

Well I just took a nice 4 hour walk passing out door hangers. I can pay a guy 10 cents apiece to do it but I enjoy the exercise :)

They had pork shoulders for $1.29 a pound. I bought 2 and put one in the freezer. I put it in the smoker and then the slow cooker. Best pulled pork sandwiches you can imagine :)

Do you believe in the idea that the Queen remain in control until she passes away/ Or should she step aside for her son considering her age and health?

Do you think her son will make a good KIng? If so maybe sooner is better than later?

SIR TALLY....I was quite shocked when I read your post informing us HM had been admitted to hospital...I had not yet had the news on.
So I heard it here first!
It is always worrying to hear of an elder being hospitilised, but probably just a precaution...
knew something was amiss when she had to cancel visiting our capital here in Wales on St. David's Day.
SO this proves the worth of TOPIX as a news related forum?

Just think, a billion dollar site so we can know the health of the Queen!

Do you think these are respectful questions to ask at this
point in time.

And what do you NOT understand about TRADITION.

Good Afternoon Boomer....really very nice to see you again in
the kitchen.
Thought I would mention a programme I have just been watching,
a Chef who is very popular over here has been visiting the United States ...calling his programme The United Cakes of America...there he is, a Yorkshire man, and he is driving around the cities to the manor born, and we all know you drive on the wrong side of the road (to us) haha...
So far he has visited bakeries in Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Manhattan...bringing a little bit of the history of these place to us, and also the knowledge of how to prepare some of the cakes chosen bakeries are famous for. I have a mind to try my hand at Key Lime Pie as made by a baker in Brooklyn, formerly of Florida.
How are your flower beds doing?
Have a new area where I planted Daffs last Autumn, they are fully out and a bright splash of colour.
Off to see some gardens tomorrow and will take my camera..
Don't be a stranger....
Love and Peace.

It has never been so bad as it is lately...I thought it was
just our hospitals had deteriorated to this level. Very worrying
Grace, and sorry to hear it.

Franko...I don't like to talk to anybody in such a fashion, but
you tend to bring out the worst in me with your disrespect to
our Monarchy...just consider it extremely bad taste when our
Queen is not well.
I would feel the same if it were the old lady down the street....
not very nice to discuss her possible demise.

Hmmm .. I guess I didn't think it was all that disrepecful to ask this , it was only a question and not a wish for anyone to die ... it could have and has been asked by many people as much as a decade ago ...

Is the tradition that the monarch stays on as long as they live? Regardless of age and ability to perform their functions?

EL .. I am very sorry, I guess I did no realize how sensitive the British are on this subject ... on this side of the pond it really would not have such impact.

'Morning Brighteyes....what amazing photos those are, they really do bring to life the general feel of the festival and those committed to being part and parcel of it....a very worthy cause
and thank you for sharing, I am certainly glad I asked...
One problem I have, I can't find you! I think I may have, but I need confirmation...as it was sheer guesswork on my part taking into account the number of people on your photo. Can you possibly send it to me individually....
Then I will know where to find you when I come to Ohio next time there is a festival!
I find your passion for people very inspiring actually, very much
so, a very unselfish attitude if you will pardon me for saying so.
Wishing you a perfect day....<3
Good Morning Lady El.....Thank you for checking out the festival. Your kind words are very appreciated. I have asked our friend to send me a copy of the photo he has of us and as soon as I receive it, I will send it to you. I had a great day and our babies greeted me at the door as usual. Our one tuxedo cat always says mama when I come home and reaches up for me to hold him like a baby! LOL He is so adorable. I hope this finds your babies getting better. Best wishes to the Queen Mother always.
I am quite envious of your daffodils being up, we only have crocus up. Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
Lots of peace & love always.
