<quoted text>I rarely get ill - so I find it very frustrating when it happens! It's three games over Saturday and Sunday - Wales vs Ireland first, then England vs Scotland and on Sunday France vs Italy (who don't have a prayer). Ironically, both games on Saturday will take less time than the Superbowl will for one game on Sunday! And we play 40 minutes each half - but no time outs, no advert breaks and 10 minutes for half-time.
That's actually the way my siblings are- they don't get but when something hits it knocks 'em flat. Me, I'm the runt of my mother's litter and often come down with something.
If you're a betting man I hope it's on the winning teams. I prefer the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. Far less violent and the players are all way too cute!:-)
<quoted text>Seems to be some rough times for a few of us in the Kitchen regarding family and freinds ... El's SIL, now your freind ..... life should be easier than that. I guess at this point they have not given a prognossis estimating how much time they have left?
No, strangely, what was NOT said is where we gleaned our info from!
kinda "no surgery or treatment - but you'll be made comfortable as possible"
<quoted text> Don't know haven't been. It's closer to Denny than to me. But I've seen the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty at the same time ..... wait for it Vegas Baby! There's the Paris hotel and New York. There's Paris, Texas too
Don't you love Vegas :) I do enjoy going there and I am not a gambler :)

We're not gamblers either --- "here's my $20 and that's all I'm willing to lose" --- but the shows and restaurants are amazing and the hotels/casinos are attractions all by themselves. When the going was good we went about every other year.
Here's one close to home folks...... A little history first. Boomer grew up in the New England states (Connecticut to be specific) and a few years back he had a guest on his show that lead a group in relaxation. It was called Laughter Yoga. I was listen to him on the radio and he announced that this lady he had on his Program today teaches.......
Wait for it.....
Wait for it.....
Needless to say I was LOFLMAO.
when he said he used to wear a parker when he lived in Connecticut... I said, "you wore what?" A parker he replied. I finally figured out he was talking about a Parka, as I new it. So I have to live with strange words at our home front and do not have to go anywhere. But it is wonderful to have them pop up now and then to get a good giggle.:) Sorry I outed you Boomer....Love you!
