I love my Civic!! On my second one. Our first one made it 13 years and well over 200,000 miles. No problems until the last year. I would highly recommend.

You mentioned Karma elsewhere.

I was thinking of that, and also my mentioning my neighbour who,
during our very first conversation as a new neighbour, threatened to
chase our little cat Barti out of her garden should he dare to go in
it, in spite of my just telling her that when we rescued him, he had a broken femur.

Suddenly it occurred to me. Last year my neighbour was knocked down with force while walking on the beach, by a greyhound. Resulting in
a broken femur!

Not that I would harm upon anyone, but, makes you think.
We don't necessarily have to wish bad things on other people, but some coincidences are pretty interesting. Do they learn the lesson? I kind of doubt it, but sometimes nature & the universe can do what legal systems can't or won't. That's just my opinion.

Have a great day wrapped it warm likely scented sheets and blankets fresh off the line!

ive always like to hang clothes out, esp the sheets - love the smell. but the last few years we've had a Lot of birds who've decided to make our yard Their neighborhood, and they like to leave presents for me, such as purple spots on my clothes.. so last year i googled like mad trying to find a solution to this and i read to hang a balloon on the line, with the intent the movement will keep them away, so i think that sounds like a nice plan, and as im heading back to the house i look back and see the balloon has gotten jammed between two of the polls and isnt moving, not that it would since it was so hot and no air was blowing anyway, so i think so much for that idea..
lil while later, i look out and theres a little bird sitting ON the balloon and now im pissed, so i run out there yelling and waving my hands to scare him away and as he takes off the balloon pops - which musta scared the crap outta him cause.. yep u guessed it - theres purple streaks ALL on my clean sheets, had to wash them again! LOL LOL
and i Just know he was thinking "take THAT ya crazy lady!" LOL LOL

this year i plan on using the dryer, thank God for modern inventions!
and i may even spray the sheets with Fabreeze when i put them on the bed.
That'll teach those birds Who's the boss!!

LOL

Hanging laundry may be a dicey proposition but the fresh smell & softness outweigh the risk!

Don't you just hate it when they crap everywhere including on
your washing...the patio littered with their droppings. I used to
have a flock of Starlings descend, it was a nightmare, thankfully they have disappeared .....I fooled them into leaving the line
alone by sticking their food way down the garden..

And me too, I love Febreeze..

Got to move..have a 50 mile round trip to the Vets..carriers ready,
just need to locate the cats!

Prynhawn Da in advance..:)

I love airing the house too,
I usually have windows flying open..
allowing fresh air in freely..
Sometimes I get annoyed,
when I have visitors stay,
they *insist* in closing all windows! lol

Morning Rose....company all evening yesterday, sneaked in here
and satisfied myself you were sound in limb! The winds we
have here draw no comparison..tornados are alien to us, so can but
sympathise. Glad you are okay...:) Hope Deer Whisperer is
too, haven't seen him in a while.(Indiana)
Taking two cats to have their check up at the Vets this afternoon
and preparing for a family visit.
Warmest wishes and lovexoxox
Hi Lady Eleanor...
We had some really serious wind and at one point a Tornado warning was issued for the area in Kentucky where my Sister Lives... So that was a real worry... We all came through it and no real damage here or over at my Sisters... Lots of tree branches and limbs to be cleaned up but that's as bad as it got.. Unfortunatly that was not the case for a lot of other folks... Three confirmed tornados touched down north of me and That same storm system wrecked a city in Georgia...

http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/30/us/severe-weath...

It was a huge squall Line and it did some serious damage as it moved through... I Hope that Cool Hand Luke is OK and that goes for all the folks that were in the path of that storm... I hope that the folks on the East coast didn't get hit as hard...
Right now it's snowing...hahahahaha
Hard to believe how quickly we went from the 70's back to the 20's but that's Indiana weather for ya... It's like a box of Chocolates...
;o)
I hope that yoiu will have a great day even if you do have to wrestle the King at the vets and that no matter what you do you will enjoy yourself...Sending you all of my best and warmest wishes...

Denny, in a way I envy your weather in Texas. Then again, I have been there in the summer months and it is waaaaaay too hot for me! Enjoy...

Thank you so much for this
reply El, and for your opinion.
Am sorry to hear you won't be posting
as much, I know there are 'real life'

behind the scenes, stuff we may not often care to

little surprises [as 'tis a BIG birthday] of our 3rd friend
however, my 'plotting'friend has ended up
in hospital, rather unexpectedly,
which casts a shadow on proceedings..
life NEVER goes as 'we think' it should!!!
On a lighter not,

Referring back to this post written last Friday..
hsrdly a week ago..

My friend was subjected to all sorts of tests in
the week in a first class hospital,
only to receive the news yesterday
that she has cancer, unfortunately of a
Forms of drug therapy or surgery have
been ruled out..
and we all know what that suggests.

I'm sure each one here has been touched by
something like this .. either in their
own family or friend circle.

A sad and unexpected state of affairs:
