What a beautiful cyber name DDR...
I got 'some' of the heavier things hanging out after,
and kept the other bits inside to dry.
I must say tho,
I have noticed a length in the evenings to
lighting up time -
Did you notice?
Hi Again...
We are running on Ol' Man Winters time and he's slow...hahahahahaha
The nights are longer but we here in my neck of the woods are on Daylight Savings Time so that makes it seem that the nights are even longer...
Glad you were able to get some things hung out and I hope that it's warm enough there to allow you to open windows and let in some fresh air... I had my windows open all day yesterday before the storms moved in... I love airing out the house whenever I get the chance...

Agreed...
We have that in common DDR...lol

I love airing the house too,
I usually have windows flying open..
allowing fresh air in freely..

Sometimes I get annoyed,
when I have visitors stay,
they *insist* in closing all windows! lol

Here's something o compliment
your very fine poem.

It is a Coplar Implant that let people who have lost their hearing hear again. Quinny can tell you more about it .

My friends in England told me they were going to get double glaze windows because they are more efficient. I laughed so hard. Like most people in the UK they leave the top part of the window open all the time.

You're not kidding. It's made a world of difference in my life. It has its limitations as all technology likely does, but it's pretty amazing.

Good Evening Lady Grace...
I love the smell of laundry fresh off the line but you don't see to many people hanging out laundry around here these days... Sorry the rain decided to show up and mess up your plans...

Hi RM...
I love to go to sleep to the sound of thunder rolling down the valley.. It's the dang evil winds that scare the bejesus outta me...I wish my neighbor would do something about the trees in his yard... Last year a branch about 12 inches thick came down right next to my shed. Glad you got a good nights sleep... and I hope that you will have a great day...
@}-'--,---
If they are dead trees especially, talk to him maybe or your village. We live in a suburb so the houses/lots are pretty close together. Some former owner figured it was a good idea to plant evergreens near the house. Not!! We took down 6 maybe 8 trees so they wouldn't damage our house or the neighbor's.

Beautiful is not always practical.

We're on southeastern Cook County near the IL/IN border. Didn't get the treacherous winds but got heavy rain and surprisingly some lightning.

Now comes some snow and a deep freeze. Go figure.

Hope tonight brings restful sleep.

My Cochlear Implant. Call it an artificial hearing system. By the time I was 33 II was headed toward complete hearing loss and the implant was my only option. The surgeon cuts the cochlea and implants a type if computer instead. Via a speech processor I have (looks like a hearing aid, but isn't), sound is transmitted to my brain much like you with natural hearing.

Much is based in what they call auditory memory. Hence my reliance and enjoyment of the music from the '80s and earlier. Names and words I've never heard before can be a challenge.

the street pavement with a walking aid,
asserted itself and CONTINUED to bark savagely at that
person..
as heads turned.. and I sank lower
and lower in the driving seat!!!
LOL!

I have a little YARIS, serves me well..
economical too.. it's
getting a bit old now..
WHAT new smaller type car would you recommend, Falcon,
when I have to change it?
My two cents??? For overall reliablity I keep hearing about Honda Accord or Civic, and Toyota Corrolla ...

Good Afternoon Lady Eleanor...
Well I made it through the night but there were a couple of times I got pretty worried... The news is showing scenes of the damage caused in Kentucky and Indiana... Thankfully there wasn't very much in the way of severe damage although on mans Farm up in Salem Indiana is a total loss... They don't know yet if it was a tornado or just powerful straightline wind...
I'm glad you liked the poem.. I had to do something with all of my nervous thoughts...
:o)
I hope that your day has been a good one so far and I hope that your evening will be even better..
Sending you all of my best and warmest wishes...
((Love-n-Hugs))
@}-'--,---
Morning Rose....company all evening yesterday, sneaked in here
and satisfied myself you were sound in limb! The winds we
have here draw no comparison..tornados are alien to us, so can but
sympathise. Glad you are okay...:) Hope Deer Whisperer is
too, haven't seen him in a while.(Indiana)
Taking two cats to have their check up at the Vets this afternoon
and preparing for a family visit.
Warmest wishes and lovexoxox

Morning Grace...I can appreciate this vid this morning...:)
yesterday I treated all the cats to their monthly flea prevention
treatment, and also wormed them....combed them, did their ears.
Washed their blankets (11 of 'em) and cooked chicken and fish, for them.
Off to the Vets this afternoon with two, it will be Clancy's second
only trip in a car, the first two and half years ago when he went to be
neutered. Hope he behaves himself for 'Uncle Jim' he is a force to be
reckoned with at times, an enormous cat, thinks he is King of the Castle.
Loved that sweet video Grace, and thanks.

Morning Quincy,

cuts down on the electricty costs also....the softener you can
add to the actual wash.

You mentioned Karma elsewhere.

I was thinking of that, and also my mentioning my neighbour who,
during our very first conversation as a new neighbour, threatened to
chase our little cat Barti out of her garden should he dare to go in
it, in spite of my just telling her that when we rescued him, he had a broken femur.

Suddenly it occurred to me. Last year my neighbour was knocked down with force while walking on the beach, by a greyhound. Resulting in
a broken femur!

Not that I would harm upon anyone, but, makes you think.
