Funny though Dog are like that...rather INTO overkill(: I found that out when my car was stopped in heavy traffic .. and my labrador saw someone walking the street pavement with a walking aid, asserted itself and CONTINUED to bark savagely at that person.. as heads turned.. and I sank lower and lower in the driving seat!!! LOL!

El, May I also add my condolences on the passing of your sister-in-law and long time friend, it isn't easy right now for you, of course, but you will always have those treasured memories to look back on. RIP.

Well, well - if it isn't bad enough with trolls coming to disrupt the kitchen, we now get Topix employees doing so. I don't know about 'dicipline'(sic), the guy needs firing for that sort of behaviour. Utterly compromising the workings of Topix. Enough of that. Sorry to hear your news ER, been away with work for the last four days so first chance I've had to comment. Trust all is well with everybody else.

Hope you don't mind if I jump in GN - have driven a Skoda Fabia for the last 5 years (ignore all the old jokes about them, now they're a VW with different logos). Very economical and has been totally reliasble - having written that, what the thing break down next week!

Good Morning Everyone... and thank you for the commiserations, they were very much appreciated. I feel dreadful having mentioned it here actually, it was said on the spur of the moment, in reality, we had lost touch, my sister-in-law and I. It's then that one remembers the times we were young, we met when I was 19 and she 22. But, a huge loss to her own family and, makes one aware of one's own mortality, as you have always said Grace. Soooo....how is everyone, and Praise Be that everything is back to normal in the kitchen.

I can second that Tony, we had a Skoda Felicia as I recall, and it was absolutely reliable, economical and a pleasure to drive. Running a Vauxhall Meriva SE currently...6 gears..(:...but really comfortable and so far, reliable.

Soooo....how is everyone, and Praise Be that everything is back to normal in the kitchen. I WAS just setting about to post here, when I saw 'you' here El.. and always so good to see your name flashing up.. Another mucky windy rainy one here, Ali is frustrated, as, if I take her to the dog run, she has a great free run but comes back filthy and I can hardly walk there, for much.. so it's plain ole tied up walkies again to day. Small problem in the great scheme of things, roll on Spring. Went to see movie 'DJANGO UNCHAINED' a Tarantino movie, absolutely brilliant, but if you are sensitive to violence [which I am] but wasn't told about the violence, it's not for you, I closed my eyes several times.. Set a few years before the Civil War, It's a VERY STRONG movie, and peels back veil about slavery, shows everything.. Acting was amazingly good, I was 'blown away' with LEONARDO DiCAPRI'S performance, from being no more than a romantic interest in TITANIC, several years back WHAT an actor he has turned out to be.. I really think he is up there with DANIEL DAY LEWIS, and that IS 'some' compliment. Wishing you El... And ALL on the thread.. a good start to the week ahead.
