Never mind the POMMES FRITES,

give me a SPUD any day,
[j/k] LOL!

WELCOME BACK Tony,
so glad you had a great and enjoyable holiday..

Not so lucky for these people,
have you heard of this..

so tragic,
showing once again there is an element of danger
in every sport..

but for the vast majority it is
great fun....

hey Quinn! Glad you had fun at your convention. Good to know people still like their job.

Rather excited about the North American Spring Fling.... How do we shorten that without it being a racy acronym!? LOL!

Hoping others nearby can make it to Fort Wayne. Ooooh, I feel like a character in Stephen Kings' "The Stand".

Big fun!

Enjoy your Monday if you are off work. Brighteyes is and I get to do breakfast!
How about EKG - El's Kitchen Gathering?

I really am excited and fortunate to have this job. It's been a long time since I was actually glad to get up in the morning and go to work.

What's for breakfast? Who has time? I save the weekends for a real breakfast.

Is it single digits in Ohio? At least we've kept the snow at bay...for a while.

Hi El!

There was a DROP of snow here last night(:

nothing much, but it covered over everything,
lovely to see..

I believe ENGLAND got the brunt of it.

Well our VOICE contest has started
again, I watched last year's BBC version
with Tom Jones, etc,
I remember Tom had an excellent way
with the contestants.

I had a look at ours last night,
and was very impressed with this chap..
what purity in his voice.

Hope your day and week goes well.

Top ten:

10) I look like Brad Pitt except taller with more muscles.

9) Click here to remove your name from our mailing list.

8) The prostitute actually gave the money back. I was that damn good!

7) Unfortunately, I can only date big women now because I carry too much meat for the average lady.

6) You are receiving this e-mail because you signed up for the “HyperWonderful Opt-In Deals Club”…

5) Oh my measurements? I’m 36-24-36.

4) You too can make a $100,000 a year from the comfort of your own home!

3) I like the internet because here people like me for me, not because I’m fabulously wealthy.

2) If you said that to me in real life I’d kick your ass because I’m a 4th degree black belt!

1) Sure that picture is of me!

Morning Tony! Hope you've enjoyed your recent travels. Did you get to meet any skiers?

A potato is still a potato no matter how you eat it.

LOL Grace. That is actually very funny.
There is a French Chef writing in today's newspaper,
and saying how we, in the UK, are arms raised in horror
at this happening, and yet we eat cute lambs and cows.
Both of which are on an equal footing with the horse.
I got Quorn mince with which to make my Spag Bol this
weekend. It's a start!
El the French eat horse and have for a long time

I am glad you love your job. That is worth so much. I had a bad day yesterday and I am going back to the doctor this morning. I just can't get rid of this congestion :)

'Morning Denny...

oh I know, I realise that. Not up to me to critisize, I wouldn't
myself from choice, it's the deception involved that has us
concerned. People have a right to know what they are eating.

One thing I do critisize of the French, is why on earth do they
kill our little birds as they are flying over to migrate. Can
only be a moutful at most. You know the ones I am talking about
don't you Den? lol

Sorry to hear you are not up to par...

honestly though .. if they had told the public "sorry for the problem, but if we labelled it correctly, would some of you still buy it, at a huge discount?" ... could those have been sold without such a great loss? Would some folk have been happy to buy them?
Over here we had a couple of meat production factories that sold nationwide, come up with outbreaks of listeria .... hundreds of sick people across the country, millions of recalled packages, and I think a few dead ... it forced one of the two companies to sell off the plant.
Speaking for myself..I wouldn't, no matter how much they reduced it.

It's like eggs. Eggs from battery hens are so much cheaper.

I wouldn't buy them under any circumstances, I see people reaching for them at the store and feel like telling them ' you are condoning cruelty buying those eggs'...a quick glance in their trolley shows they are not hard up, bottles of booze galore,
but no qualms on buying something that a creature leads a life of hell to produce. The stores are at fault stocking such of course.

Incidentally Franko, I believe the horse meat under investigation was not fit for human consumption.
