TKY for that. I don't generally antagonize and I don't bully but I am also not a wallflower. As I said 'hell hath no fury like a Quinn scorned". There are few if any people RW and cyber who I dislike. Who and how many dislike me in either or both worlds remains to be seen.
:-)
I like you....for what it's worth, and I am sure everybody else here
does too....:)

I wish I could say I don't dislike anybody myself...regrettably I formed a dislike of a new neighbour who threatened to chase my little black cat out of her garden in spite of my just telling her that when I rescued him he had a broken femur which the Vet considered had been done by force, and was healing having been unattended to.
It wasn't as though her garden was anything to write home about, it was a disgrace! Lack of compassion does it for me, don't wanna know!

Maybe we me in a pub in the Wash. I was there too. Hotel Mildenhall. You bring back memories that I have long forgotten. Thank you.
We may have...but I am sure I would have remembered!...:)

I checked out Mildenhall on google, I am glad I asked you, learnt a lot,
how incredibly interesting the history of that R.A.F station is..and to
this day is still home to the Air Refueling Unit...hope I have that right.
You certainly got around the United Kingdom...

Your military career is quite fascinating, you certainly did your bit.
Thanks for sharing Boomer...

I think it is witch hunt that he brought upon himself. He was so ready to go to the courts to deny what he was actually doing - he was bullying and controlling towards all around him and now he wants to cry, "not fair" to his just punishment for bringing the sport into disrepute. I have a hatred of drugs in sport - destroys all that the point of the competion has.
I hear what you say about his charity work - but even that to a degree was self-serving. Personally, if the guy disappeared from the limelight, that would suit me fine. I am sorry that his behaviour is bound to damage what is a worthwhile charity - maybe he should have considered that. I would point out that our own Sir Bradley Wiggins doesn't have much good to say about him.
Welcome back Tony...your visit to St. Anton sounds fab.

I haven't gone into all the ins and outs of Lance Armstrong's wrongdoing,
but as I see it, he has come clean and time to leave it alone.
He isn't the first to have cheated and no doubt won't be the last, as
far as I am concerned it isn't the biggest crime in the news yet he has been treated far worse than the bankers have.

Common sense dictates that if a sport is good enough to survive, then it will. It shouldn't collapse because of one man's misrepresentations.

Had that been the case, then football would have stood a chance!

Life goes on. Let's move on to the next 'victim' we can get our claws into.

Fair enough Franko...now on a personal level, P is a 'Maxwell
pensioner'...Robert Maxwell who ran off with all the pensions...

This has not made P that he is unable to trust anybody any longer,
he was bitter at the time, but, hey, life happens. You get on with
it and adapt accordingly.

Rather excited about the North American Spring Fling.... How do we shorten that without it being a racy acronym!? LOL!

Hoping others nearby can make it to Fort Wayne. Ooooh, I feel like a character in Stephen Kings' "The Stand".

Big fun!

Enjoy your Monday if you are off work. Brighteyes is and I get to do breakfast!
How about EKG - El's Kitchen Gathering?

I really am excited and fortunate to have this job. It's been a long time since I was actually glad to get up in the morning and go to work.

What's for breakfast? Who has time? I save the weekends for a real breakfast.

Is it single digits in Ohio? At least we've kept the snow at bay...for a while.

Hi El!

There was a DROP of snow here last night(:

nothing much, but it covered over everything,
lovely to see..

I believe ENGLAND got the brunt of it.

Well our VOICE contest has started
again, I watched last year's BBC version
with Tom Jones, etc,
I remember Tom had an excellent way
with the contestants.

I had a look at ours last night,
and was very impressed with this chap..
what purity in his voice.

Hope your day and week goes well.

LOL Grace. That is actually very funny.
There is a French Chef writing in today's newspaper,
and saying how we, in the UK, are arms raised in horror
at this happening, and yet we eat cute lambs and cows.
Both of which are on an equal footing with the horse.
I got Quorn mince with which to make my Spag Bol this
weekend. It's a start!
El the French eat horse and have for a long time
