Sorry to hear that Denny. Can you get hold of some Manuka Honey.
It really will help. Spread it on toast....do not have a drink of
any description for at least an hour either side of having it, as it dilutes it making it ineffective. Got to be Manuka and a high strength
over 10+. 15 pref.

Dear Rose...I would be so happy if we had temps of 66 at midnight
in the SUMMER...hardly seems fair! Really cold here and just waiting
for the snow, I want to wake up tomorrow morning to a Winter Wonderland.
Then for it to all go away again overnight. lol
Wonderful gesture on your part to gift your recliner to somebody who
needed it more. You won't miss it too much when you get this brand newbie in your living room...it's going to look fit for a Queen, I just
know it.
Hope this finds you keeping well, and the pups too.
Keep warm, dry...and have a brilliant weekend..
Love-n-HUGS..
That is why I find it so funny my friends in the UK are concerned about global warming :)

I have never heard of that kind of honey. I do like honey and it is very good for you. I need to drop 20 pounds so I am eating only protein so no toast for me. It eat pork rinds as a substitute for breads

Glad you enjoyed...:) I made a batch this morning using a ready
prepared mix I picked up yesterday at the store, called MCENNEDY
I usually make up my own mix using eggs, milk, this was a lazy
method, but really good. Topped with Maple Syrup and Ice-Cream
a nice treat.
Off for the evening shortly, so see you later.

A real bad flu epidemic all around us. I have had my shot. I just took the last of my antibiotics.

This is not a good time to be thinking about dropping weight Denny,
you need to put your immediate health first. You can always take a spoonful of honey on it's own if you prefer though. Up to you, but it
does have healing properties.

I had this a month ago and I got it again. Now are your pancakes heavy or more like crepes? Our friends in Brighton think they make pancakes but to us they are crepes

Your illness has not diminished your sense of humor! LOL!
Have some tea with lemon and a shot of an adult beverage. Then a little nap, some broth and more beverage.

<quoted text>Neat. I didn't know that. I hope you are having a great Sunday, Any plans for the day? I do enjoy our conversations and love to disagree with you :) Have you always lived in Illinois ? I can't believe how much different areas have different ideas. We are so very conservative in Texas. Everywhere but Austin and that is where we keep our liberals :)
I think Indiana is supposed to be pretty conservative too. I find that funny because there are more adult book stores, casinos and strip clubs over the border than are in Illinois.

I am born and raised in Chicago and only moved just outside the city limits when I got married. Mom and my aunts and uncles were quite conservative in their beliefs, democrats in politics, prejudiced to the hilt. When I was in college and a little older she would call me a liberal and think it was an insult.

What has always boggled my mind is prejudice and intolerance. Texas still has sodomy laws on the books doesn't it? Not everyone believes the bible is "The Book". I don't mean that to offend --- my mother was raised in Pre-Vatican II times (don't recall if you're Catholic). The point is simply that I don't see how anyone can think its ok to own people, I don't understand how people can get all hot & bothered over two men or two women wanting to get married or if two people live together and raise a family without getting married. It's no one else's business and it not "special rights" it's fundamental human rights. There are old survey plats from Chicago that specifically say the property cannot be sold to a colored man.

If a black man/woman has the money are you not gonna close the deal and sell them the house?

Those things make no reasonable sense to me. If I were of age during the civil rights movement I would have gone and followed Martin Luther King.

It was definitely a major devastating event that affected more than just Americans. There is no question there were people from all over the world in New York and at the World Trade Center when the planes hit. Pretty much everyone remembers where they were.

We were vacationing there the month before to celebrate my birthday.

Thank you :)

There is whole controversy and debate within the deaf community whether to implant or not; assimilate or not. The thing for me and folks like me, I am not 'of the deaf world/community' and sometimes it's hard to fit into the hearing community. We took a sign language class before my surgery but no one else in my circle signs. The issue will always be your ability to communicate with me if my processor goes out.

You just need to reduce the carbs not eliminate them. And too much protein is not good for your heart/kidneys.

As a diabetic I have bee listening to this schpiel for 14 years ----- South Beach diet as my doc recommended. Up the good fats and good carbs & decrease the bad fats and bad carbs.

I realize I'm the non drinker here, not that I care who imbibes, but our dear Denny us on meds is it wise to suggest he partake of an adult beverage?

There are all kinds of conservatives. I am a libertarian so I don't care what people do as long as no one is hurt by it. I don't care who people have sex with but I don't think gays have the right to change the very definition of marriage. I think gays should have all the rights anyone has and they do. We probably still have a lot of the same sort of laws and covenants on the books but they aren't enforceable. I have always thought it was funny about the stereotype of the south being racist. Like ML King said no one ever threw a brick at me until I went to Chicago :)
