Liam Neeson in Jack Reacher film wouldn't work well. He portrayed an ex-CIA operative in Taken, released in autumn 2008 and in its sequel Taken 2 released this past autumn. So,'overload' of two different similar characters might be problematic never mind the possible filming schedule conflict.
Oh, does Cruise have any ownership/partnership in the film group responsible for "Jack Reacher"? If so, he was a 'lock' for the role, I'll bet.
Good morning Deer Luke ... I would venture to say there will be more Jack Reacher films and Cruise will continue to play the role ... IDK of any ownership/partnership in film group or any of that jazz but I will say, much to my chagrin, Cruise did the writer, Lee Child and the character Jack Reacher, justice ... He made it work and I really don't like Tom Cruise ... Apparently, I've missed a lot of Cruise's alleged "good" movies due to my dislike of him ... maybe I need to re-consider watching some of his old films ...

Please give my regards to Paula and yall have a very fine day ...{hugs} FC <3 ...

LOL ...

I was at a dinner party one night and heard a lady say to her husband, "dahling, do be a lamb and fetch me a beverage" ... I laughed out loud but no one knew why I was laughing ... Luckily I didn't have a drink of beverage in my mouth or I'd of spewed it on my late husband ... He pinched me on the arm to stop, haha ...

The Wrestler? He was brill in that.
I am keeping an open mind on Tom until I see the movie.
I had to, Lady El ... I said I would go see the movie as long as Cruise wouldn't take his shirt off ... He did! Ugh, but funny thing was, in the movie, the actress told him to put his shirt back on ... the scene was hilarious ... wait til you see it ... You'll love it!...

Have I greeted you yet today?... Good afternoon, Lady El ... sending warm wishes and love your way!...

It has stopped raining here in Columbus, Ohio and the sun has emerged from the clouds, yah!!!
It looks like Muncie or Fort Wayne so far. Probably a Saturday afternoon. Let us know your dates, maybe we all can agree, depending on the weather.
Peace.

Good Heavens! It was 40 degrees and spring like balmy here today and supposed to reach 60 by the weekend. Most definitely not January weather in Chicago.
No wonder the flu is running rampant here.
Well 'twas like that here since Christmas
AND the same in France, after Xmas..
beautifully mild,
unseasonal, if you like..
but, in the past 2 days frost has returned.

Incidentally,
RM, since we were discussing bears very recently,
thought you [and others here]
might find this one interesting.

'Close Encounter' one might call it(:

We have another pal who would join us (see email to Brighteyes). Flying in. Needs to firm travel plans.

Doesn't Ft Wayne have an airport? Didn't you mention Ft Wayne as an option? Distance to drive is not an issue for me. Not sure if it is for you guys. You mentioned 90 minutes but I'm ok if it's further.

Hey thanks Grace. I loved it. He/she looked curious about the vehicle, not aggressive. If it really wanted to eat the guy I'm sure it could have. But did you see the size of those claws?!

If you like action/suspense the SIGMA series by James Rollins is a page turner. One of my friends is related to the author
