I have found great personalities here. I may agree or disagree with some folks, yet the coffee is hot and the company warm.
Thank you all!
Kent State University just lost their bowl game, sad.
As long as it doesn't overlap into here, not a problem. I suspect the haters won't bother as they'd be ignored.

I was out all afternoon visiting a relation

took Ali walkies before I left.
All good..
bedtime now.
Good night ALL.
I was going to say it was a scream, which it was, but there was a
lot more too it than that. Wouldn't have missed that for the
world. That fellow's face (and his wife's) when presented with
the fruitbowl, 10 years door to door and 30 years in the Basement!
As you say Grace, so true.
I loved where the railway worker got up to sing! Brilliant.
Another mild day and dry day here...and noticed the snowdrops
are coming through.
Glad you are feeling better Grace, look after yourself, don't
get complacent.

What's happening Tally...surely no more large scale 'incidents'
although to lose one life is bad enough. I would say sit yourself
down and have a cup of tea, we endeavour to understand each other's
woes here, we are all amongst friends, indeed our own longstanding
family.

OMG Grace, as you mention it, there was a lengthy article
in Saturday's newspaper about rearing White Lion's so that
somebody prepared to pay highly could kill the trusting animal
when he reached full size. This in South Africa.
It's a sad world.

Nice to see you here Tally and hope you can find some peace. The well meaning platitudes are just that, well meaning. Folks don't know what to say but still try to support.

As always, be well and have peace..

One can only sympathise...

and human nature being what it is, put themselves in the position
when they themselves suffered a loss, comes flooding back, so that
we know just what that person is going through.

The world is not the same when one loses a friend/relative...
but we can consider ourselves all the richer for having known that
person.

As we value the living.

It is a sad moment when a friend or relative passes.
We will miss the person, however, we will always have the memories!
Sincere condolences.
Peace.

is so tenderly put and the truth of that
