Stevie Wonder said the mayor of Ferguson, Missouri, isn't seeing the full picture a month after an unarmed black 18-year-old was killed by a white police officer.

"I don't know if the mayor has blinders on," Wonder said in an interview Wednesday. "But to say that he didn't know that there was a racial or cultural problem in the city is unfortunate."

Wonder said he approved of how President Barack Obama has responded to protests in the city following Michael Brown's death last month. As the unrest drew worldwide attention, Ferguson Mayor James Knowles told reporters that there was no "racial divide" there.

IMPO: The black man getting killed is up to the courts to decide, I have no opinion at this time.
But from all the information from the internet I have a definite opinion on Ferguson, Missouri.
Blacks are and have been discriminated against there for years, it's just been an accepted fact by the governor to the mayor to the local police and it's not uncustomary for southern communities to be this way.
The blacks won't try to lift themselves out of poverty, their perverted life styles encourage undisciplined behavior and they bring most of it on themselves; but regardless; they should not be discriminated against! Until they learn they must better themselves and stop depending on government support things will not change.
They have determined their lifestyles not US, we've given them every opportunity +plus+ but they've refused to use it to their advantage. Many of them have taken more advantage of the system than "WE" ever did of them!
In conclusion I'll predict this will become a a test project for other communities with the same problems and I 'pray' both sides can work it out. It's time government got down to the real meat of the problem instead of just throwing money at it which is their way of solving all problems.

PS: PS: If people are not willing to better them selfs without outside influence what effect can anyone have on them? This includes are -general population- if 'we' are content with things as they are they won't change. As a nation 'we' need to wake up and be aware of what's happening around us, sure it's been great, but what did you have to do with it?

There is absolutely no evidence that Trayvon Martin was doing anything more than returning to his father's house after returning from the store prior to being stalked by an armed George Zimmerman. If Zimmerman had likewise minded his own business, the whole episode never would have happened. Before Martin gets painted as a thug, consider Zimmerman's past track record.

Consider Martin's past as well. I think it more than shows what a young thug he was.

Regardless of Martin's past, he was simply walking home minding his own business. Zimmerman unfortunately didn't mind his with tragic results. The confrontation occurred a considerable distance from where Zimmerman parked his vehicle which clearly shows he was stalking Martin. Can you spell racial profiling?

If I am supposed to brush this off as past history and stop commenting on the issue, why do you continue to comment on it? And on the St. Louis incident, I do not have enough information to give an informed opinion.

Regardless of his past, Zimmerman had no cause to stalk him while armed. Martin was simply returning from the store when Zimmerman, against the advice of the dispatcher, decided to take the law into his own hands with tragic results. The whole incident was completely unnecessary in the first place.

Unless you were present, you have no way of knowing that.

But this incident is way out of date. There's a more recent incident that happened in Missouri, where a thug received justice after assaulting a store clerk and a cop. The racists there are looking for all of the help they can get to lynch the cop that was involved.

Better check again...I've only commented on how blacks and the media handled the Martin case.....the St. Louis incident is cut and dried.....black gun felon, wearing an ankle monitor and under house arrest...finds another gun and goes out and shoots at police....See anything to protest there?

You are obviously trying to whitewash Zimmerman's armed stalking of an unarmed man. I saw the diagram of where Zimmerman's vehicle was parked in relation to where the altercation took place. The dialoogue between the dispatcher and Zimmerman is public record.

Is there any logical reasonable answer to this one?
I can't come up with any solutions what about you?
Will this develop into a Martial law event?
That's the only possible solution I can come up with.
There will be agitators & instigators mixed in the crowd
you can bet on it so all must be arrested and then filtered
and sifted thru to find them from citizens in the neighborhood.
I'd be putting up roadblocks and checking all in coming traffic
from out of the area as starters.
Then I'd place informants among the protestors to spot the
trouble makers, deputize some of the community.

PS: Hold those that get the permits for protesting responsible for any criminal activities.
No permits - no protesting
Would that work?

That still doesn't fully address my assertion. You thought I should keep my silence about the Zimmerman incident while you continued to comment about aspects of it. You also dragged Ferguson into it even though I said nothing about it in my previous comments. And being that I was not there and that there are conflicting stories still about it, I have chosen not to comment on the Ferguson incident. If it did occur exactly as you said, and there is no other important information you are leaving out, I would agree that the policeman was justified..
