good luck .....if a mere little innocent baby ... can make a police officer become afraid and
call for help
lock himself in his car
cry momma

when we the people hired the officer to what most are afraid to do , a sad country indeed
it is the police who are handcuffed , same a teachers and anyone else in authority

Not handcuffed enough that ... he had the freedom to make
the decision to gun down a man
whose hands were held up!

who said his hands were up.......... why was the officer in the hospital.... dead men don't fight ......... I wasn't there but the little know facts show a fairly good scenario

Dear Grace the same people who claim his hands were up have also said he was shot in the back. The cop went to the hospital from a beating by a thug who had just robbed a store. I think the facts will show this was a good shooting. The media show pictures of the thug when he was a little boy but not many have seen the pictures of him with a bottle of whiskey holding a gun

I think we could & should all admit what you honestly just did admit here
(& kudos to you) > that you weren't there...
NO ONE HERE ON TOPIX WAS THERE /present to observe what *really* happened
frame by frame, we are all drawing our own conclusions and
'maybe' in some cases fashioning them to our liking,
or opinion.

All I know is ..... a young man, as a result, not even having reached his prime is now
deceased..
and that is truly sad, WHOEVER was right or wrong in this whole matter.

Grace we don't have an honest media. They have tried to form a myth of the man who was shot as a poor innocent kid, a gentle giant. If this had the facts presented in an honest way no one would know about this. It would just be a death of a known criminal. The average weekend in Chicago has about 10 people being killed every weekend . That is black on black crime but you hear little about it

To a degree. I agree with you on building our own scenarios..however. Grace. You still have to take into account the facts ..the 2 main ones being this young man CHOSE to wrestle the firearm from the officer. This young man CHOSE to beat the cop up...and yet you condone him

I honestly dont understand putting value on a life that clearly had no regard for others lives himself.. he himself changed the dynamic when he made HIS choices..
The officer saved future lived that day.. this little xhoir boy was on his path. Gladly he was stopped before he ended a real innocent ..life..all his choice. Grace. Regardless

Ah well now, I dunno bout that:) now, HH.

If a greasy haired ole porter bellied lad
who smelled of tobacco asked me out on a date..
I wouldn't dream of accepting!!!

But if I learned later he had Bill Gates wealth,
I might just change my mind:). Ha ha!

The historical crime rate in Ferguson Missouri. The surrounding areas are pretty bad too.

Could be, but calling the ISIS crowd "dogs" is an insult to well behaved canines everywhere :)

I've got a ginormous boy that could easily take the arm off an intruder, but hes gentle as a kitten with his family.

Clearly .. and thats ok.. but. I still find it very hard to understand that IF a life was taken n this scenario. You choose for it to be what appears to b an officer thrown into a horrifying situation.,,,doing his job to protect and serve...in order to let a dangerous thug have one more chance to wrestle a gun from someone..
Evil comes n all shapes sizes ages and color...
Makes me wonder if this hits a personal note with you.. dunno
Its a problem

Now lets consider what Browns relatives and friends did when establishing his 'memorial' in the middle of the street where he laid for 4 hours.
Were they intentionally defying police regulations to not walk in the middle of the street?
Were they -egging on- the local police force to provoke them?
What's your opinion???
