Do me a favor. Don't be Google. Be YOU. Why not share some of your own experiences and observations, and the timeless truths that you discovered that didn't come from teacher or books, but only your observations?

We are being ourselves regardless of political affiliation. BTW, I am a political centrist and an independent thinker who looks for his own answers rather than simply following the crowd or some guru. I, like you, have often been accused of marching to a different drum, but unlike you, I realize that there are opposing opinions out there that are no less valid than mine. I also realize that this is a public forum and disagreements with another will often be commented on by third parties who disagree with your position, unlike you. I also agree with Grace Nerissa when she points out that you want unbridled freedom to criticize anything by anybody while you want to keep the rest of us on a very short leash. It is funny, but when Rosa jumped into the fray as a third party in your behalf, you did not tell her to mind her own business. Sorry, but it just doesn't work the way you demand that it does.

She did. In post number 269.
And now someone will probably tell me the same thing.
How many cats do you have? I have one and my husband has another.
My cat is a very old man. Elijah. Love him. He talks to us and knows people by name. He knows some words, but seems like he can understand sentences.
Like if I say, "Come look at this." He will stop what he is doing, give a MEOW and head nod, and run over. I think he knows the word look. I say this when I bring him a new toy or want to show him a bug. Lol. There are lots of sentences he seem to know. Like, "Go get Kimberly." And when you ask him something he always answers ... or atleast seems to. Non-cat people are surprised by him.
Sorry to go on about cats.

I have a 14 year old male, my "bad cat" and a more compliant 14 year old female. They both understand more of the English language than they let on.

LOL...

I have a Lab/collie dog mix...

she is very clever, like NM's cat,
she knows SO many words..

I often sit before her and say all the words,
individually, and clearly, slowly and it's such fun to
watch the black head, bending curiously
from side to side,
as if to say,'now all that makes sense to me'

she also watches TV!
once noticed a burglar trying to break into
a house ['twas only a movie]
but somehow she followed the context,
ran over, stood before the TV and gave him *ell barking.. lol

What WONDERFUL creatures they all are...

My dog is a little lover. My cat will hold a grudge.

My cat talks to us and seems to meow at appropriate times during a conversation. He also watches tv. He also attends family meetings.

Your dog sounds sweet. Apple of your eye.

the Amanda Todd story, was lacking many details. The bullies were cruel, but that child was neglected by her parents which is the real reason this happened. People can be cruel, but no excuse for ignorant parents. The attention seeking of this story is responsible for yet another teen suicide.

Bullies are not just kids they are also adults who bullies children.I had a male teacher who would bully me every day.I never told anyone...I was in high school when this happened.
Parents Please ask about your child's day and listen.Get involve in their life before it's too late.

had some teachers who could be like that. Teachers like that should never be allowed to teach. Teachers that allow their "pets" to get away with bullying others are also a disgrace to the teaching profession.
