We make these for the grandkids out on the deck on Christmas.

12-pack of hotdogs
Honey
Brownsugar
Kahbob skewers

Skew the dogs and then dip them in the honey, then the brown sugar.

Let the kids roast them over a grill until the brown sugar carmelizes (dark brown to black).

The kids love them - and as long as you're not Hypo-glycemic, they go great with a Heinikin.

Hey Old'man when you put that skewer in the dogs
get'ya a knife and roll the hotdog along cutting a
spiril 'angle' cut to the skewer 'curly cue style'.
The -goodies- hang on better and the cuts crisp
real good.
Grandkids love'm!

PS: Mine is =buned= and bloodity-mustarded with picklerelish & onions & topped with grated cheese
+ Bud...

Here's a great comfort food casserole dish I make when my grandson (Mr. Picky) comes over - it's simple and easy:

(1) box of whole grain dressing mix
(1) 12 oz. sour cream
(2) cans of cream of broccoli soup (or any cream of soup for that matter - the grandson likes broccoli)
(1) small can of Rotel sauce (not chunky)
(4) skinless chicken breasts
**********

Pre-make the dressing in the microwave per instructions on box. Set aside.

Mix the remainder of ingredients in a baking dish (I use my large Pyrex). Cube the chicken breasts and place in baking dish mixture. Cover with dressing. Bake at 400 deg. for 1/2 hour.

I've got to tell you - this is one of my favorites and my grandson's as well. No need to salt or season this recipe - the sodium in the soup and the spices in the Rotel do the trick.
