Aww, man, come on, brother. Lift your head up, please. I felt the way you did once, for about 30 years.

If you noticed, everyone in here is pollyanna types. It's a bunch of women "scrapbooking" their lives, saying that it was all worth it and they are happy. Life is HARD. If this isn't true for you, you are either wealthy beyond belief or have had a lot of easy breaks.
Life is hard, but if you wind up in a good place, changing the hard stuff might change where you end up for the worse.

On the other hand, I went through a divorce. I would change the way I handled a lot of issues during that time of my life. I was wasting my energy on something I could not change, and I see that now.

Well, if you look like that picture, maybe you are happy beyond belief. The Buddha said, "Life is suffering. It is ruled by dukkha (dissatisfaction)."

No, I am not a pollyanna and I'm not "scrapbooking" as you say. I know "exactly" how HARD life is. Both my BF and I have worked very hard to have all that we now have. We worked our way from our first tiny appartment to the very large house we now have. We scrimped and saved and invested all the way and still do. What, because you are a man (I am guessing, can't tell by KSF) you think the opposite sex doesn't know what a "hard" life is, do you think everything I now have was handed to me!......think again. You are given a blank pallet of your life to make something of it, we chose the right direction to go in, sorry if you didn't and your life is "HARD". Ours is no longer like that!

Yes that is my picture and yes, I am very happy.

..........doing it over would mean one has some regret, in the decisions they made. The idea is too be able to go to bed at night and know that you have not hurt something/someone else.

IF I could go back and do things over.......Would I do it???? I would have to say No! Reason being... what I have learned in my life so far, has made me the person that i am today. It has made me a better mother to my boys, a better wife to my husband, and a better friend to all.

I like this thread! Good idea!:)

Thanks for sharing. It says you're in Saskatoon...A friend of mine brought me some saskatoon berry syrup after a visit to Canada. It was wonderful!
Thanks; the berries are even better fresh. Canada is a great place to visit (in the summer).

Hey, I had pink ones too, they were Converse ones. I think mine are hidden in a box somewhere with a note that says "touch these and there will be big trouble". Maybe I should check and see if they are still there??!!

Y'know, most of the things that affect our lives are the result of things that happen to other people. It's because of those things, and how we managed them, that makes each one of us what we are today. Is ANYBODY 100% happy? Nah.
Would I like to be someone else? Nah. Would I want to come back and do the same again? Nah. I like getting older and watching the world go by. And when my time comes, who knows? More to the point; who cares? The grass I am sorry to say, is just as green on this side of the fence.

Very good decision that you changed your mind. All big boobs do is cause a bad back.
