In your house, David 0407, paper plates may work wonders. Use plastic utensils, too. Every day will be a picnic.
Also try plastic throw-away sheets, underwear and socks, then no laundry.

My wife once suggested that, but my support of ecology guickly vetoed that idea as our landfills are chocked enough and the costs of disposing all the extra throwaways comes out of property taxes or garbage pick up fees, whichever apply. I compost all vegetice waste and use in in my garden when it is broken down. I am also big on recycling which results in my household producing perhaps one tall kitchen bag's worth of garbage per week that has to go to the landfill.

I hope your penchant for projecting your own weaknesses on others gives you a false sense of well-being. Did you see all the posts of yours that got deleted from early friday morning. Apparently Topix was not amused and thought you were the one with the serious problem and not me. Suck on that one, troll with the gutless use of proxies! What's the matter? Did those naughty Topix people ban your poor little IP for trolling that you had to hide behind a proxy? If your posts get banned, don't come whining to me. My shoulder is off limits to you.

Suck on this:

Plastic disposable utensils clog the landfills and require petroleum to produce and are not biodegradable.

That only works if your wife cooks once every three months or so. Take some advice from someone who has been married for over forty years, if you don't help out in the kitchen eventually the only boob keeping you company will be the "boob tube".

If you reuse them, fine. But then there would be things to wash after eating and it would defeat their purpose.

"Should a Husband Help His Wife With the Dishes?"

I don't know .... Should a Wife Help Her Husband Change the Snow Tyres on the Car - Repair the Leak in the Roof - or Leave Her Husband Hiding in the Closet While She Goes Downstairs to Confront the Burglar?

hmm well this is interesting. I think the questions are more do you have a man that would want you to change tires, repair the leak and confront the burglar? Personally I like a strong man who would do those things and still help me with the dishes if I want him too. Now that would be a sexy man!LOL

Some men may feel it's a threat to their machismo. I personally wouldn't have a problem helping the little lady with household chores. Sometimes its the little things that set the tone for the relationship.

Yeah, right, I suppose you'd get a spontaneous orgasim if he'd knit you a sweater and file your finger nails for ya'?

I do what I'm good at and my wife does what she's good at. I'd do just about anything she'd ask me to do but she also likes me to be masculine and doesn't want me anywhere near the kitchen when she's cooking. Which ever one of us gets to the dishes first washes them. We don't "help" with the dishes - we just wash them.

Before I got married I did the dishes by myself, I don't mind helping now.
