back step , for me , I was in mind of Federal law since the main theme of the thread was the 2nd amendment
Where did I back step? You’re dreaming again.

The segment of the discussion you jumped in on was related to the Kennesaw ordinance which requires all heads of households to own a firearm and appropriate ammunition. Now you want to move to Federal law?

What part of this do you not understand?
“conscientiously oppose maintaining firearms as a result of beliefs”
'Beliefs' would be religious objections, dumbazz.

Do explain why a state would pass speed laws if they made an exception for anyone who could legally ignore them for no other reason other than they just didn't want to obey them?

Look up "conscientious objectors".

And cross-reference: atheist.

Yeah, like that pesky old useless 1st Amendment.
Funny how the gun gnutters cite half the second amendment (and ignore the first half) but scream and stomp when people use the first amendment to point out that they are full of [email protected]

Funny how that is.

You can't read.

The city had exactly the same words available as you- "If you oppose owning a firearm in Kennesaw you don’t have to own one"- but they did not use them, they qualified the KIND of objection one could have.

Ironically, he accuses everyone else of crying. That and using multiple IDs.
It is funny how predictable libs are when they have nothing of substance to post.

repeating..........

The law of the United States consists of many levels[1] of codified and uncodified forms of law, of which the most important is the United States Constitution, the foundation of the federal government of the United States. The Constitution sets out the boundaries of federal law, which consists of constitutional acts of Congress, constitutional treaties ratified by Senate[2], constitutional regulations promulgated by the executive branch, and case law originating from the federal judiciary.

The Constitution and federal law are the supreme law of the land, thus preempting conflicting state and territorial laws in the fifty U.S. states and in the territories.
