Hornaday is what I shoot as well. But I stick to the 300gr to 350gr rounds. I guess I would carry the 500gr rounds if I were going to Alaska and didn't want to become bear chow. But then again, the bear might do less damage to my wrists and elbows.
I bought some at BPS about a month ago. It was $3.30 per round plus tax. I would be all over $2 a round.
I shoot 500 grain S&W 500's all the time, even at the range. The recoil makes me happy.

1. "Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not."
~Thomas Jefferson

2. "Those who trade liberty for security have neither." ~ John Adams

3. Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.

4. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.

5. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

6. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.

7. You only have the rights you are willing to fight for.

8. Know guns, know peace, know safety.
No guns, no peace, no safety.

9. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.

10. Assault is a behavior, not a device.

11. 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.

“There are certain times we should infringe on your freedom”

http://monachuslex.com/...

“There are certain times we should infringe on your freedom.” These words, or ones very much like them, are powerful words indeed. They have been spoken countless times throughout history by pharaohs, and kings, and emperors, and men with far too much power over the weak and defenseless.

And once spoken, they have shaped the blood-spattered history of mankind. They are the words of tyrants … of dictators … of slaveowners.

And always … what followed was misery, and suffering, and then ultimately … horror and death.

Most recently, these words came from the mouth of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has long made it clear that he is far more qualified to run your life than you are.....

LMFGDAO!!!

You've never proven otherwise. I provided a link that stated, "City of Kennesaw" right on the top. It's your perogative not to believe anything, but unless you provide proof otherwise, then I'm afraid you'll have to jump just a little bit higher to prove anything to the contrary.

Here's another tidbit - when the City of Milwaukee releases it's crime statistics each and every year, they do not include "surrounding areas" that are not within the city limits. Milwaukee is a county seat - meaning that the county contains not only the City of Milwaukee for surrounding suburbs as well. Suburbs of Milwaukee the City, such as West Allis have their own police forces and crime statistics. Pretty much like Kennesaw, Georgia.

Exactly. Why then are the reports you provided, from Cobb County police rather than Kennesaw City police?
Took you long enough to come around to it.

I was referring to your posts with the news reports about the individual incidences. They all said, "according to Cobb County Police", or "Cobb County Police said". Or something along those lines.

You are a liar.

Of course, when you copy and paste from a liar- a liar... a draft-doding, drug using, crybaby fraud such as Glenn Beck- you could insist that you are just stupid and swallow whatever load you put in his mouth.

Americans are putting "hunters" under fire, indeed- in actual fact- over 80 percent of legitimate hunters agree that there should be universal background checks.

Funny how over 90 percent of Americans want background checks... and nine percent of Americans are felons... and ten percent of Americans don't want background checks...

Funny how that is.
