I posted a statement of facts , that is all and as you can see I'm well informed just by the icons I received .. because that statement shot holes in somebody's posting , feels goooooooooooooooooooood

your country: you concern yourself with air travel , our country we will concern ourselves with our guns
What makes you think we have any concerns about air travel? There is zero concern regarding air travel here. I dont see your point.

What a cop out!
If you market that type of deflection into a bullet-proof vest and manufacture it into an extra small size, there'd be no need to arm our teachers.

How's that for a cop out?

Ok, let's see the data on stones only - as compared to gun-related deaths.

Just the stones, just the facts.

In barely more than 60 minutes last night, three city cops were shot in two separate incidents.

In the first, off-duty cop Juan Pichardo, 34, was shot in the leg as he stopped armed bandits from robbing his used-car dealership in The Bronx, said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

A short time later, plainclothes Transit cops Michael Levay, 27, and Lukasz Kozicki, 32, were struck by bullets fired by a gun-toting thug whom they had spotted walking between subway cars in Brooklyn, Kelly added.

Officers respond after a fellow officer was shot in The Bronx Thursday.

The subway gunman, who had a lengthy rap sheet, was shot dead.

The three wounded officers are expected to survive.

Didn't say guns said rifles
FBI did not categorize each individually just as a group.
Sticks includes; clubs, ball bats, etc.
*=* IMO:
Arming teachers definitely sends the 'wrong' signals to students. It would continuously send a message of danger through out the school + can
you imagine a PTA meeting or a teacher strike?

I don't trust the teachers today to educate the students much less defend them. We dumb this nation down anymore, well forget that it's already happened. LOL

"Sticks, stones, and hammers kill more people each year than rifles. FACT "

So you're telling me that you're a liar? And what is an "etc.?"

I would bet that there are alot more murders with sticks and stones than hairpins too.

Your attempt at deflection failed miserably.

Here, I'll help you...

http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in...

Although the report does not include "sticks and stones." I wouldn't necessarily consider a stick a blunt object. Also shotguns do sometimes have "rifled" barrels. So if you must include sticks and stones, I'll include shotguns.

Sorry, what? You don't think im from England? And whats a 'jerk water ID'? You're not making much sense my friend.

As for identifying the problem, i think that's pretty obvious what the problem is. You have too many guns and the country is plagued by nutters who enjoy killing people with them. Its not very complicated really is it.

I truly mean no offence to America in general, I love your country an awful lot. Your gun laws are an embarrassment to you though.

On the subject of school, wouldn't it be cheaper to have a doorbell, camera, buzzer and a metal detector at the main door of each school, than to hire a police officer full time?
Doors would be locked when classes start and have the one-way lock - so no one can get in but the kids can get out. All teachers would have a key, especially the coach who would take kids outside for ball practice.

What does a military cemetery have to do with what we are talking about?
