Actually, Mark Kelly, her husband, bought it, but as yet has not picked it up. He has said that he won't be keeping it, but has not said if he will keep the .45 semi-auto that he purchased at the same time.

Oh hell, if he's not keeping it, does that mean he's going to sell to an individual without that individual being background checked? Is he admitting to being a straw purchaser?
Lmao!

Clerk shoots robbery suspect armed with toy gun in Harris County

http://www.khou.com/news/local/Man-found-dead...

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A robbery suspect with a toy gun was shot and killed in a northeast Harris County smoke shop late Sunday.

The man's body was found in the parking lot of a strip center near the Eastex Freeway and Winfield Road around 9 p.m., deputies said.

The owner of the store said the would-be robber held a gun to his clerk's head and demanded money.

The clerk grabbed a loaded gun from under the counter and shot the suspect twice. The suspect ran into the parking lot, where he collapsed and died.

She also says that a complete ban on handguns could be possible through state and local action.

Oh my. If you glue a magnet on the tip of a long stick and jam it up your bum you might manage to extract that tack from your throat. Your spelling suck too. Did you drop out of the 3rd. grade?
On the magnet, are you speaking from experience?

You were proven wrong. Deal with it.

Ok, what did we say about blogs?

Blogs are opinions, not facts of any kind.

I read the story.

Retired astronaut Mark Kelly, husband of former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, recently purchased an assault weapon to make a point about the ease of background checks for gun owners.

In an interview with CNN on Monday, Kelly said his experience highlights the availability of such weapons. "It is a pretty easy thing to do," he said about buying the military-style firearm.

Kelly announced Friday on his Facebook page that he bought an AR-15, one of the 157 military-style weapons that would be banned under a bill pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The panel is set to consider three gun bills Tuesday, including the proposed assault weapons ban authored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.

Kelly said on his Facebook page and in the TV interview that he plans to give the AR-15 to the Tucson Police Department when he receives the weapon. He said he will keep a .45-caliber handgun he purchased at the same time.

Mark after picking it up will want to fire it a few times before he turns it over to the police. When he does that he'll change his mind and keep it.
Bet ya!
It ain't no 45?

PS: Maybe he'll put it on facebok or Craigs List for sale. Mark Kelly (an astronaut) selling an AR-15 should bring a 'good price'?

Come on, I know that you follow Ferrerman's blog religeously.

Just kidding, I try to avoid using blogs as a source but it was the best that I could find while at work.

He's just a little weird anyways - I remember some of his interviews when his wife was still recuperating. Most astronauts are out there I think.

obber Confronts 81-Year-Old Man and Demands ‘Everything You Got’— Turns Out, What He Had Was a .38-Caliber Revolver

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/11/ro...

As he was driving home on Sunday night, 81-year-old Florida resident James Stevens said he knew something was amiss after he realized a 2010 Kia had been following him for about 20 minutes.

Stevens wasn’t about to lead the man tailing him to his Ocala, Fla. home, so he pulled over in a field. Sure enough, the Kia also stopped. In retrospect, the suspected robber would tell you he should’ve just kept on driving.....

Just for the sake of argument;
Stevens fired four rounds from the six-shot revolver
I suggest since it was a 38 it chambered 5 shells
and the old man had it set on the empty chamber.
