Straw purchases are illegal under federal law. Punishable by up to ten years in federal prison.
Unless you are part of the Obama Administration.

What an idiot! I know the license has a number! No! It does not stipulate a specific model, caliber, and serial number! Please provide your "proof" that it does!
I don't know how much clearer I can present it for you. Maybe Yoda can help. A concealed carry permit does not a registered handgun make.
As eternal cynic pointed out, in your state, that is the case. In most other states, it is not.
Please show where the law in Georgia or Florida states that a concealed carry permit is tied to a registered handgun.
In Texas there is no registration of any gun. Your carry license can be for revolver only or it can be for any type gun. It depends on what you shoot when you qualify. Some people get a CCL and never get a gun. They feel there is less chance of getting a traffic ticket when they show there license

Plagiarizing from the GCO now?
Georgia is a shall-issue state (regardless of what the president of the Georgia Council of Probate Court Judges seems to think). Georgias license is required to carry a pistol or revolver openly or concealed, with few exceptions. The Georgia Legislature has defined the criteria a person must meet to be eligible for a Georgia Firearms License (found in OCGA 16-11-129)
7 and also has created laws limiting how one may carry (OCGA 16-11-126 and 16-11-128) and places where one may or may not carry (OCGA 16-11-127, 16-11-127.1, 16-11-127.2, 16-12-123, 16-12-127, and others). Georgia expressly pre-empted any local government from creating any places off-limits. Georgias pre-emption statute is found in OCGA 16-11-173). Source: http://www.georgiacarry.org/cms/georgias-carr...
Todd Blackwell is the current president of the Georgia Council of Probate Court Judges. He complained about costs associated with meeting new state requirements processing the applications.
Once again, how does the firearms license equate to registration as you claim?

My CCP allows me to carry any handgun I own. It does not state make, model, caliber and serial number. I can carry 10 different handguns in 10 consecutive days if I wish to, and I will not be breaking any laws.
You are confusing the permit being registered vs. the handgun being registered.

No Tally the state has no record of the serial number of any gun I carry. That would be illegal

Why did they put seat belts in cars?

Is there a law that requires that you use them where you live?

Why is that?

Because of laws requiring seat belts, it has been estimated that over 250,000 lives have been saved.

Time to start saving lives lost because of idiots like yourself who insist you have special rights.

You don't.

Interesting. I carry revolvers, semiautos, and the occasional Derringer. All with the same permit.

Again PROVE IT! You've posted repeatedly trying to use slight of hand, but never produce a shred of evidence that a concealed carry permit in Florida or Georgia require registration of the firearm carried, or requires make, model, caliber, and serial number of the firearm carried.
Telling me I'm full of chit doesn't constitute proof. Give documented proof and state your source mr. Law library, former judge.
Judges being that stupid explains so much!

You are an absolute idiot. Yes seatbelts are required. Yes that law is unconstitutional.
But seatbelts in cars would be more analogous to a safety mechanism on a firearm.
I can estimate anything I want. That 250,000 figure is great, if its correct. But what about the people who died because they were illegally required to wear a seat belt? Acceptable numbers, to allow government to tell us what's best for us, while taking a greasy dump on our rights and freedoms?

It was their right to be wrong.

Are we changing subjects, seeing as you can't prove your statements about carry permits and gun registration?

I wouldn't be here telling you about it.
I respect the fact some people wear them but because of my personal experiences you'll never see
me strapped in unless I'm on the track, and those days are in the past for the most part.
Have I ever been ticketed, NO!
...now that I said this I'll probably get one tomorrow...

HH said: I have every serial number of every gun I own, listed by exact description, distinguishing feathers and caliber.
Also some have 'self-stamped' insignias, it wouldn't take the law long to figure it out
who it belonged to
if one turned up missing.
Then it would have to be registered I'm sure!+
show them some paper work(???)
