Suprisingly, Illinois is the only state in the Union that doesn't have a CAC law.

As of today - Chicago had it's 500th murder by a gun in a year. The highest since 2008.

Of course you could always live in Flint, Michigan.

Funny how you never hear about guns stopping an assault or saving someone's life.
Look up Mississippi School principal Joel Myrick and he stopped an armed kid on shooting rampage with a 45.

Look up York County Va Auto Zone employee saves manager who was being robbed at gun point.

Guns also are used by hunters, usually lower and middle income people, to provide food for their families.
What is so interesting about all this talk about gun control in this country is that it was guns used by ordinary citizens who gained our independence from England and it was guns used by US settlers to gain land in the west.
All the freedoms and land US citizens enjoy were bought at the end of a gun barrel.

You know, I was pretty cowardly in my early 20's. There were 2 babies asleep in the other room, and I had an intruder. He had come inside our front gate, looked in the kitchen windows where I was making dinner for Oki, and I saw him try the doorknob at the front door. Had he opened that door and stepped one foot in the house, I do believe I'd have been cowardly enough to blow a .45 caliber hole right through his middle.....

Wow! Judging by the "emotional responses" I'm getting, I now know that Americans really love guns and will thoroughly defend their right to own guns. lol. Anyway, in my 27 years of living in Kenya, I have never owned, held or even fired a gun. I see them with Policemen and the Army and in the many American movies I've watched like the 1995 movie, Heat. Anyway, I've never been shot at, never been robbed. It's not everyday I hear guns been fired where I live. It's so peaceful out here. But I know nobody believes me because you all think I'm lying. I hear Kids and innocent people in the US get shot at by some mentally challenged Gunman in the US and I wonder why the mentally insane man got a gun from in the first place. Aren't there any gun control policies in the US? If you were me, you would wonder as well.

Tai Chi is a form of "soft" martial arts for body and mind relaxation, coordination and control. Essential for a healthy body development and/or exercise. But you wouldn't want to mess with a Tai Chi specialist. There's no "softness" in their assults. Donnie Yen, Sammo hung and Jet Li are among the famous Tai Chi specialists out there.
