Actually, axes were not designed to kill.

The axe, or ax, is an implement that has been used for millennia to shape, split and cut wood; to harvest timber; as a weapon; and as a ceremonial or heraldic symbol. The axe has many forms and specialized uses but generally consists of an axe head with a handle, or helve.

Cars weren't designed to kill either, but they do every day due to impaired/distracted drivers and possibly mechanical issues. So, what's your point? The day of the Sandy Hook tragedy, some nutball in China hacked up six children with a knife in a school there.

"Modern" people seem to be violent. It's people who need to change, not what they're holding in their hand. And socialist/liberal ideals aren't helping.

It's funny when Conservaturds say, "it's money we don't have anymore." We didn't have any when Bush was president either, but naturally all the Conservaturds at the time were busy sucking hind teat and couldn't speak, right?
You just had to bring "Conservaturds" out again, dincha?

Careful - I wouldn't use automobile-related deaths as an analogy to support a pro-gun stance anymore. Car-related deaths will be eclipsed by year's end by, guess what? Gun-related deaths.

The reason?

The point is, any weapon can kill. If the dude had been serious about killing them, he could have positioned the knife or axe to do so. One inch one way or the other could have meant a life. What defense does a little kid have against an adult with a knife or axe?

I would take my chances against a knife or an axe before I would with an assault rifle. With a knife or an axe, you need to be at arm's length to do damage - as opposed to an assault weapon - one of the biggest reasons the military doesn't use swords anymore.

Let's talk about how the SCOTUS gave corporations 1st Amendment rights. The Citizens United ruling gave corporation's MONEY the status of protected speech. How is that NOT entwining government with corporations? Do you know what that is called?

"Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."

CITIZENS UNITED...

"One of the most controversial decisions in the Supreme Court’s last term was Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission.1 In a sharply divided 5–4 decision, the Court invalidated strict federal campaign finance laws and upheld the First Amendment right of corporations to spend unlimited sums of corporate money to support or oppose candidates in political election campaigns. Finding that political speech is constitutionally protected whether it is uttered by an individual or by a corporation, the Court expressly overruled two of its prior First Amendment cases that had upheld prohibitions on corporate expenditures in political elections"

Who are the "Terrorists"?

Your inflammatory charge of supporting terrorists should be dealt with on another thread of your choosing. I will continue to kick your azz there. I do support the human beings in Gaza. I am against the Zionist slaughter and apartheid of the civilians in Gaza. I am against the continued U.S. financial support of the Zionist, Likud party and the aggressive, war monger, Netanyahu. Why does the U.S. continue to give $8 MILLION A DAY (and that's not all) for war to a country that is approximately 27th in the world for per-capita income out a field of about 185 countries? That's not all the U.S. dollars are supporting. Why...Why are we giving money to these people while the U.S. budget is in the toilet?

Start another thread and I'll address your silly attempt at hate mongering.

Yeah, and go figure - the 500 is Jennifer Lopez's choice of transportation - like she could ever plant that fatass into anything less than a 40-yard dumpster.

Back in the 80's, Metropolitan Cadillac up here had a deal - if you bought a new Caddy, they'd throw in a free Yugo - what adeal!!!
