pending charges were issued?
To what extent were search & seizure laws executed?
Were relatives, friends, and neighbors questioned concerning them? Or did 20 cops show up-cuff the dude-and throw him in the slammer-case closed?

Now what laws should 'we' be working to change?

As long as you have outrageous gun laws in one state there will be jumping to other states. Like a background check for ammo in New York

As an aside. CCL holders are held to a higher standard. One example of this is the legal alcohol limit. For everyone else, 0.08 is the legal limit. For CCL holders, 0.05 is the legal limit.
