Governmental functions, including declarations of war and calls for an army, were supported in some degree for some time, by each state voluntarily,

The issue is "guns in the hands of Americans". You don't get it yet?

You are comparing the United Snakes with mostly third world, undeveloped nations. If the United Snakes fits into that category then say so. But none of the countries you've paste have any baring on mass shootings in the United Snakes. If you honestly believe that banning or issuing firearms in Bhutan will decrease the mass murdering trend in the United Snakes than please tell me how that would work.

It's not the gun that kills but the average uneducated, misled, ignorant American who pulls the trigger who kills. You've lots of both. Either the American mentality must be educated and gainly employed - or the gun must be removed. Those are the only two choices you have to stop the killing.

What happens when a President and his Party DOESN't uphold the Constitution THEY took an Oath to Protect and Defend?

Wind technology provides less than TWO percent of our energy. Solar,not much better. NUCLEAR? There hasn't been a NEW nuclear plant allowed to be built in almost 30 years. Like our older coal fired plants they are aging and costly to upgrade and could possibly be taken off line in a few years,with NO replacements. Can you afford a 1,000% jump in your power bill? Rolling blackouts? Rationed power where you are allowed to have electricity for a few hours a day? THAT is the choice facing us(US)if we don't rein in stupidity. You can bet your azz that DC and other major cities won't be facing any of those scenarios.
