Actually, I have no respect for you, not your rights.

It's funny that the same Conservaturds that don't like the way this country is run and want to own a gun to fight a so-called "tyrannical government" are the same idiots that think they have protected rights by that same government. Look up the word hypocrite - there's a picture of you right next to the word.

It All Started With Gun Registration

The Night of the Broken Glass (Kristallnacht)--the infamous Nazi rampage against Germany's Jews--took place in November 1938. It was preceded by the confiscation of firearms from the Jewish victims. On Nov. 8, the New York Times reported from

Berlin, "Berlin Police Head Announces 'Disarming' of Jews," explaining:
The Berlin Police President, Count Wolf Heinrich von Helldorf, announced that as a result of a police activity in the last few weeks the entire Jewish population of Berlin had been "disarmed" with the confiscation of 2,569 hand weapons, 1,702 firearms and 20,000 rounds of ammunition. Any Jews still found in possession of weapons without valid licenses are threatened with the severest punishment.1

On the evening of Nov. 9, Adolf Hitler, Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, and other Nazi chiefs planned the attack. Orders went out to Nazi security forces: "All Jewish stores are to be destroyed immediately .... Jewish synagogues are to be set on fire .... The Führer wishes that the police does not intervene.... All Jews are to be disarmed. In the event of resistance they are to be shot immediately."2

All hell broke loose on Nov. 10: "Nazis Smash, Loot and Burn Jewish Shops and Temples." "One of the first legal measures issued was an order by Heinrich Himmler, commander of all German police, forbidding Jews to possess any weapons whatever and imposing a penalty of twenty years confinement in a concentration camp upon every Jew found in possession of a weapon hereafter."3 Thousands of Jews were taken away.

Seig Heil pookie.

Sheriff asks people to arm themselves and get ”in the game”

By Rick Couri

David Clarke is the Sheriff of Milwaukee Wisconsin and he’s tired of the bad guys having the edge. Clarke recorded a Public Service Announcement that ran in his city urging citizens to take a firearms class and protect themselves before they call 911.
Clarke’s message begins by telling people that “calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option.”

Sheriff Clarke was a guest on the Sean Hannity show this week, listen to the interview here.

Clarke went on “you can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back but are you prepared?”

Would you be crying right now had president Clinton gone ahead with his plan for an Iraqi regime change in 1998? A lot of dems are on record stating that Iraq had WMDs, starting with Al Gore in 1992. Want to see the videos?

ALL Obama did was say go.....the rest, the intellegence and the actual order find and kill bin Laden came from Bush. Obama, like Clinton delayed making the decision for several hours. Clinton actually turned downed bin Laden three times. So if bin Laden was the biggest, badest and most dangereous, why the delays on the decision and why did Clinton turn him down three times?

Clarke is a nut.

But of course you could relate to him.

The ad has generated sharp criticism from other area officials and anti-violence advocates. The president of the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs' Association, Roy Felber, said it sounds like a call to vigilantism.

"That doesn't sound too smart," Felber said. "People have the right to defend themselves, but they don't have the right to take the law into their own hands."

We the People of the United States, Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
So ...... the question of validity as to "established Justice, insurance of domestic Tranquility, common defence provisions, general Welfare, and security of Liberty and Posterity" has been overlooked?

I lived in southern Africa during the 70's. Using lofty words as in the American Constipation (those you've quoted above) is like saying Apartheid was for the good of the African population.

Please don't tell me you're using the disarming of Jews in Nazi Germany as the yard stick guide to a sort of cheat sheet in predicting the imminent arrival of Fascism. You might as well say that Democracy is the first step to Fascism since Hitler was elected in in a free and Democratic election.

Hey, I know coal generation power.

Actually, the government has little to do with shutting down coal-burning power generation plants. Rebuilding and servicing the miriad of aged plants, turbines and generators is pricey. Most small companies can't afford the rebuilding of service costs that are associated with many of these coal-burning units. Thrown in with the fact that they contribute heavily to ozone depletion and you have a lose-lose scenario. Many complanies are forced into buying their power from newer, neighboring power plants - whether they be hydo-electric power, gas-powered or nuclear. There is currently one nuclear power plant under construction in Georgia - and it is a shitload of dollars over-budget. It is the first nuclear power plant ok'd for production in over 30 years.

http://money.cnn.com/2012/02/08/news/economy/...

Natural gas-power generation is the way of the future - and hopefully our neighboring states in the North approve a gas line running through their backyards, otherwise it's back to coal. A great example of natural gas power generation is Almond Power Plant in Ceres, California. They use three commercial units.

http://www.tid.org/power/generation-facilitie...

The Capital Power Plant outside of Washington DC hasn't supplied power to the capital since 1952. Electricity generation is now handled by the same power grid that serves the rest of metropolitan Washington.
