Men, Women and Women With A Little Extra.

Where are the newly-transgendered MEN? They never seem to have any problems with public spaces

Worked with such a person who used the ladies room dressed in woman's attire, but you could tell that She was a HE and we called human resources and they told us the law stated as long as you are dressed that way then you can use the ladies room. Questioned as to whether we could use the men's bathroom dressed in suits and ties the answer was most definately. My question is, why would we want to? Just like being a Jew For Jesus makes you a NON JEW, since we can be a sofa and a chair but NOT a sofa and chair. You either are or you arent. But we do need to have THREE bathrooms. Men......Women and.......DAMNED IF I KNOW.

I really don't understand the bathroom issue and the concerns of a transgendered person using one of the same gender they are presenting. I can tell you this, I will use the woman's bathroom because that is what my driver's license says I am now despite my physical birth gender. I value my life enough that I won't go to the men's room. There are still WAY too many homophobic red-necks out there who think that I somehow pose a threat to their manliness. Don't worry about me getting into your wife's pants, worry about the homophobic red-neck next to you!!! Think about it!

nah -- just men and women.

FtMs generally get a greater degree of acceptance, and since most folks can't tell by looking at many, they don't get much of an issue.

However, they do indeed have problems -- just as often -- but its not as "interesting" as when it happens to a trans woman.

Therein lies the crux of your argument. Transsexuals don't have a choice in the matter -- and indeed, they ask the same question.

Indeed, the reason for that policy is that its a lot like *forcing* you to use the other restroom or fitting room. Because by saying that a TS person can't use the restroom for thier gender, that's basically what you are doing.

I would agree with you. Those who appear to be girls go to the girl's side and those who appear to be boys go to the boy's side. What is under your skirt or in your pants are not anyone's business except yours!!

There should be a security guard at the entrance to every bathroom whose job it is to grope the crotch of everyone who enters. This way, it can be assured that no mix-ups occur. I think that Michael Jackson has already applied for one of those job openings. (He will be allowed to grope his own crotch as well)

So a child moliester dress like a woman to follow your little girl in the bathroom and thats all right ? If you are a man just because you wear a dress doesn't change the fact by law your still a man or a woman if you dress like a man . Across going in the restroom dressed like a woman may cause some fights or some name calling I kmow if my kid asked me i'd tell the truth and say thats one sick puke !
1 - Child molesters don't typically dress as women. Except for the female ones.

2 - The individuals involved are not dressing "like" a woman -- they are women. Even using the highest level of incidence suspected right now, they account for less than one percent of the population.

3 - By law, most of them -- even those who have not had reassignment surgery --*are* women. Their legal douments typically say they are women, they live the lives of women (the individual in the story is a woman, legally), and in general, they act like women.

4 - You just said you would lie to your child, perpetuating a myth and instilling bigotry and further fostering ignorance beyond your own (unless your child happens to be born with this, in which case I feel for them). If you understood what you are talking about instead of simply making a knee jerk, emotinal reaction to something you don't understand, then perhaps you wouldn't do so. That's not the truth. That's deception.
